Masquerade 56

Hyunjin licks his fingers as he eats like he hasn't tasted food before. He does so with no shame and as if Ten isn't sitting right in front of him. It's truly a disgusting sight.

"Have some sense of decorum. . ." Ten mutters, cringing. He clears his throat to get Hyunjin's attention.

"I need you to do me a favor." He says.

Hyunjin shakes his head, refusing without even hearing him out.

"See, Ten. I make drugs and poisons and things of that nature. I don't do any physical work so I'm basically useless. Find someone else." Hyunjin smiles before returning to stuffing his face.

Ten realizes this isn't working. Hyunjin isn't one to take anything seriously, hence the way he addresses Ten. At this point, Ten is done putting up with his bullshit.

"Since you're basically useless, I'll just send you back to prison." Ten threatens and Hyunjin pauses at the mention of prison. Ten sits back in his seat with a satisfied smile.

"Make sure the floors are sparkling clean!" Karina tells the maids as they mop as diligently as possible.

Karina hears Jaemin going through songs on the speaker and shakes her head in disappointment as they are absolute trash. She goes over and snatches his phone and plays something more pleasing to the ear and smiles as Jaemin looks rather annoyed.

Haechan comes up to them. "Have you guys seen Sungchan? He's been gone for like two days." He asks, worried.

Karina and Jaemin shake their heads. "Maybe he'll be back soon." She says, trying to reassure him but he just seems more stressed now as he walks away.

Taeyong stares at the banner that says "Welcome back Johnny!". He shakes his head "it's not in the center. Move it a little to the left." He orders the two men on the ladders.

Today is a very busy day as Johnny is coming back in a few hours. There's excitement in the air and though Taeyong is excited, he's worried. It seems like it's only a matter of time before he has to tell Johnny about the pregnancy.

"No, that's too far left. Move it back a little!" He orders.

"Taeyong-ah, I think it's just fine." Chanyeol places a reassuring hand on his shoulder. He smiles at the younger.

"I just want it to be perfect." Taeyong tells him.

"It already is. I promise." Chanyeol reassures him.

Taeyong notices the maids bringing out the plates and bowls and placing them on the table. He sighs, going over to yell at them how they need to rearrange it. Chanyeol just laughs, amused.

Ningning enters and both her and Karina immediately scream. "I haven't seen you in a while!" Karina beams as they jump up and down holding hands.

"Girls. . ." Jaemin shakes his head before walking off.

"Oh and Jaemin-ah, can you find Jungwoo and tell him to come help?" Taeyong asks from the kitchen. Jaemin gives him a thumbs up before going to find Jungwoo.

Taeyong enters the kitchen, seeing Irene and Seulgi watching over the maids. Irene looks up, questioning if Taeyong needs something.

"Just checking to see what's happening here." He smiles before leaving. One of the guards comes up to him and hands him two letters and one of them is purple.
