Chapter 55

Ten grumbles as he snuggles his head closer to the warm chest under him.

Wait a minute.

Ten's eyes shoot open to the sight of Jaehyun casually laying next to him. "What the fuck!" He curses, backing away from Jaehyun.

Jaehyun laughs as if it's amusing. "You were drooling all over me. You must have been dreaming of something good." He says as he gets up, taking off his shirt that was embarrassingly stained with Ten's drool.

Ten narrows his eyes, his glare scorching hot but so are his cheeks.

"Get up. I'm giving you the freedom to get some fresh air."

"What?"

"We're going out."

For a minute, Ten can't believe what he's hearing. He thinks he's woken up in a different reality. "Where are we going?" He asks.

"Shopping. I'm going to a nice event and I need a very nice suit and you haven't seen the sun in maybe a little less than a month so I'm taking this opportunity to let you." Jaehyun says ever so casually. He smiles as he walks out.

Ten lays back down with a huge sigh. Suddenly, his brows raise as an idea hits him. He could use this to his advantage. Jaehyun can't do anything risky in public. All it takes is Ten screaming and running to draw attention. So, he has to stay close to Jaehyun and find the perfect opportunity to make his escape.

The odds have to be properly calculated because if he makes a run for it at the wrong time, he knows he'll end up back here.

Ten smiles to himself.

After getting ready, he comes downstairs but his jaw clenches seeing two men in black around Jaehyun. "What is this?" Ten questions, giving them a skeptical look.

"Just my men. They're here to keep us company." Jaehyun answers with a sly smile.

This just made everything more complicated. Ten has to re-evaluate now. He forces himself to smile, tilting his head. "To keep us company or to keep me company?" He asks.

Jaehyun steps closer and lightly pats his cheek. "Both." He replies as he pulls a blindfold out of his pocket. Ten steps back, unsure of what Jaehyun is planning with that.

"Relax. You're not allowed to see the road or the villa. Knowing how occasionally smart you are, it'll probably help you escape." Jaehyun forcefully ties the blindfold around, sneaking in an insult.

"Fuck you." Ten curses.

Jaehyun simply chuckles. "Help him to the car." He orders his men. They grab each of Ten's arms and lead him out the door as Jaehyun follows behind.

Haechan hums happily, juggling a box in his hand as he comes downstairs. He finds the living room completely silent just with Soobin drinking by the bed and Yeonjun on the couch staring off into nothing.

Odd, Haechan thinks. He joins Soobin by the bar, stealing his glass to take a sip. "What's up with you two? Why are you drinking so early in the afternoon?" He asks with a playful tone.
