Jason's pov
Michael is a young wild thing. We most of the time just call him Mikey because that's what he prefers to be called. The chilling reason behind that? He told me the name belongs to his Uncle Michael who would visit when he couldn't sleep. "I knew you were watching over us, Mike." I shakily say, having not slept well. I walk down to my young son's room where Dallas was getting him dressed. She's so playful and great with kids. I'm so glad to have them both in my life. "Hey honey, could you see how far away your mom and dad are?" She asks, standing up, holding him tightly and bouncing around the room, making him laugh up a storm. I can't help but smile. He's such a great kid. I walk downstairs and call mom. "How far away are y'all?" "In the driveway son!" Dad says, making mom laugh. I open the door as dad gets out. "Hey guys. Breakfast is already on the table. I really have no clue what she has planned." Mom laughs. "Sunday brunch with the family! Is that so bad!" She jokes, hugging me. It has been a hot minute since we got together. "Hey babe mom and dad are here!" Mikey races down the stairs, laughing hysterically then grabs onto my dad's legs as my wonderful girl walks down the stairs. "I'm gonna get you, little man!" He laughs giddily and dad swoops him up. He suddenly looks shocked when he sees him. "WHOA!! You're kidding!!" He cries. Huh? I see my wife nod, looking close to tears. "Look at this!!" Dad cries turning him around. His shirt says, "I'm a big brother!" My jaw drops. "WAIT WHAT?!" I cry shocked. "Babe!" She laughs. "Surprise, Jason!!" She hugs me tight and I stare at her shocked. "Mommy's got a baby in her belly!!" Mikey excitedly says. Wow how'd she get him to keep quiet about it? Whatever. "BABY GIRL I LOVE YOU!" I shout, kissing her gladly. Mama was a little overwhelmed, waving her hand in front of her face. "Congratulations dear!" She says hugging me. "I'm just as surprised as you are, mom." I say. "Well let's eat!"
*a few hours later*
Miranda's pov
Jason and Mikey were playing a racing game. They were both so competitive and adorable. "I hope you can handle this wild family, little one." I say rubbing my tummy excited. "Babe?" I look up to see Jason looking at me. He glances at our son again and smiles. "Well parenthood the sequel, hitting our couches in nine months." He says, making me smile. Mikey tackles him in a hug. I laugh and kneel down beside them. "I love you, Jason." "I love you too, angel."
