Miranda's pov
It feels good to lay in a bed instead of on the ground. Jason walks in all sweaty from nailing up that cave. "I gotta talk to ya after I get out of the shower." "Ok." He takes a quick shower then lays down. "You know how Todd and Nathan just disappeared?" I nod. "I think the dead guy at the mouth of the cave was Todd and the grave on the beach was Nathan's grave." That sends shudders down my spine. I lay against the pillows feeling nauseous again. "What I wish I could figure out is why you got sick." I look over at him. "I don't know. It was probably the rocking of the boat." He shakes his head. I bite my lip. "You got sick before the boat though." Ugh.
Jason's pov
"I'm pregnant." My eyes go wide. I sit up quickly. "You're what?" I cry shocked. "I'm pregnant. I figured it out. That why I got sick and I had swollen feet while we were walking. I can't believe it! "Have you taken a test?! Do you know for sure?" She's shaking and trying not to cry. "I haven't taken a test but I know it's true." I am so shocked. I'm gonna be a dad. "I-Is this...... W-What you want?" I shakily ask. "I'm so scared! I never even planned on having a kid til much later on down the road! I'm not sure if I'm ready!" I hug her. "What do ya wanna do?" I wipe the tears from her eyes. "Tell me what ya wanna do and I'll do it." "I don't know what I wanna do. Can we.... Talk about this more tomorrow?" I nod and kiss her forehead. "It's gonna be okay, Miranda." She smiles. "I love you, Jason." "I love you too."
