Jason's pov

I was listening to the radio while Jason was in the studio. One of Jason's songs came on called the truth. I listen intently and turn it up shocked. Jason opens the door as the last lines come on. "Just don't tell 'em all the truth I still need you. Yeah that's the truth, I still love you! Baby that's the truth!" I turn around wide eyed. His eyes are wide too. He walks over and turns the radio down. "Are you okay?" He asks. I nod. "Just.... That song hit me hard." He smiles and kisses my forehead. "It's all about you Dallas." I smile as a tear slips from my eye. "Did you finish the album?" He smiles and nods. "The night train album hits stores in October! I can't wait!" He says, proudly. I smile and hug him. "That means more time for us." I say, excitedly. He smiles and nods. "What do ya wanna do first?" I bite my lip with a smile. "And this Dallas is why I love you." He says, grabbing both my hands and us going upstairs.

*3 days later*

We go to the pond in our yard. "Hey Jason, back in Dallas when we first met, ya know I knew every song by heart." I say, laying my head on his shoulder. He smiles down at me. "She had a shiny little beamer with the ragtop down, sittin' in the drive but she wouldn't get out, dogs were all barkin' and a waggin' around. I just laughed and said y'all get in." He sings. "She had on a new dress and she curled her hair she was lookin' too good not to go somewhere." I pick up, smiling. "I said what ya wanna do baby I don't care. We can go to the show or we can stay right here." He sings, pulling me into his lap. "And I can take you for a ride on my big green tractor we can go slow or make it go faster, down through the woods and out to the pasture." He whispers. I stop him from singing with a kiss. "And I know that song ain't about a tractor." I whisper, my lips still against his and my hands drifting to his belt. He chuckles in our kiss. "You know me too well." He says, turning me onto my back. I smile and close my eyes, looking away. "I'll take ya for a ride." He whispers.
