Jason's pov

I've got a little surprise set up for my cowgirl. She's asleep upstairs in our hotel room at this beach resort we went to for the honeymoon. The sun's just going down so I plug my guitar into the amp and stand on my tailgate. I call her.

Miranda's pov

I wake up to my phone ringing. "Jason?" I gape confused. "Open the window girl and look down." "Ok." I say slightly confused. But I do what he says. Tiki torches surround his truck which he stands on with a guitar. "This is a private concert for my number one fan! This is for you Dallas!" He shouts with his country boy smirk. He holds a pick up in the air then rips a couple cords on the guitar. I lean on the window sill to watch, a big smile on my face. He plays Texas was you (Jason), check yes or no (George), you're the love I wanna be in (Jason), and makin' my way to you (Cole). By then I walked down onto the beach, my nightgown blowing in the wind. "Glad you could make it." He jokes. I smile loving every second of this. "Pull up a chair, Dallas, this is a night you'll never forget." He whispers then plays a slow tune to a song I don't know. "Girl I know.... It's hard to admit when I've fallen down...... But the look in your eyes, helps me back up.... I can't stand on my own. Cause it feels so right.... With you standin' by my side. And I know...... I wouldn't be...... The man I am today, if I didn't have you. Everyday life'd be a losin' battle, the struggles, the troubles, the fights. But one look, just one smile and I can keep goin' for a country mile, and I know..... I wouldn't be..... The man I am today, if I didn't have you!" (I made this last song up by myself^) He sets down the guitar and jumps down. I love this new song! "Because of you, I'm a lucky man and you're the best part of who I am!" He snaps his fingers and the tiki torches go out instantly. Plunging us into darkness, other than the light of the moon. "With you, I can do anything." He says, holding my hands. "Oh Jason, that was amazing!" I gasp wide eyed. He pulls me onto the sand. "Aw we ain't finished yet." He says, smiling. He grabs his guitar again and climbs up on the roof of his truck. A light settles on me. "Someone lock me up and read me my rights cause I'm guilty of love in the first degree." He says making me laugh then he strums to that song. "I once thought of love as a prison, a place I didn't really wanna be, so long ago I made a decision to be footloose and fancy free! But you came and I was so tempted..... To gamble on love just one time, I never thought..... That I would get caught..... It seemed like the perfect crime! Baby you left me defenseless and I've only got one plea lock me away inside of your love and throw away the key.... I'm guilty of love in the first degree!" He keeps singing but ditches the guitar and walks over to me, grabbing my hand and spinning me around. "Now babe I'm not beggin' for mercy go ahead and throw the book at me! If lovin' you's a crime then I know that I'm..... As guilty as a man can be!" He dips me and kisses me gently. "Baby you left me defenseless and I've only got one plea lock me away inside of your love and throw away the key! I'm guilty of love in the first degree! Oh yeah yeah I'm guilty of love in the first degree!" By now I've got tears rolling down my face and he's all out of breath. "My goodness, Jason that was the most beautiful show I've ever seen." I gasp. "Oh Dallas you make me the happiest cowboy this side of Texas." He says, lacing our fingers together. A light shines on a figure in the distance. I glance that way and he slips a hand around my waist. "And to close our show, the one and only, Mr. Brad Paisely." He says. The young cowboy clears his throat and starts to sing. "She's a yellow pair of runnin' shoes and a holey pair of jeans, she looks great in cheap sunglasses, she looks great in anything." As Brad sings, I stare into the green eyes of this amazing man and we slow dance on the beach. "She's a fighter when she's mad and she's a lover when she's lovin' and she's...... Everything I ever wanted and everything I need. I talk about her I go on and on and on cause she's..... Everything to me!" Tears shimmer in my eyes and strong warm hands rest against my cheeks to brush them away. "She's a Saturday out on the town and a church girl on Sunday she's a cross around her neck and a cuss word cause it's Monday." I lay my head on his chest, feeling the beat of his heart. I've never felt better then I do right now. I close my eyes. "She's the giver I wish I could be and the stealer if the covers, she's a picture in my wallet and my unborn children's mother she's the hand that I'm holdin' when I'm on my knees and prayin', she's the answer to my prayer and song that I'm playin'!"

Jason's pov

After he sings the chorus again, I make hand gestures meaning to keep playing but stop singing then I pick up the song, a different format. "You're the voice I love to hear, and someday when I'm ninety you're the wooden rockin' chair I want rockin' right beside me, everyday that passes I only love you more yeah you're the one that I'd lay down my own life for! And your everything to me!" I whisper sing the last line and kiss her passionately by the light of the midnight moon. "There's just no way I could live without you." She whispers. I smile, her head tucked in the crook of my neck and my arms wrapped tight around her. I love my Dallas so much.

I wanna dedicate this chapter to my best friend Rachel for always being there when I needed a friend and for giving me this great idea. Thanks girl, you're the best!
