The next few days were pretty uneventful. After his shower on his first day, he had eaten dinner before turning in early as he was still getting used to everything. That next day was spent mostly at the local police station trying to figure out who he was. When there was no data from his finger prints, it was suggested that he went to the hospital to get blood work done. Which they did. They were also told that it would take a few days to get any kind of information. Although Charlie wasn't sure they would get any information at all.
During his time there he had gotten to know the pack a bit. Sure he knew what had been shown during the movie but as he had learned during his time in Camelot, not everything was the same.
Currently Charlie was laying on the couch while reading a random magazine. He was wearing his gray sweats he had showed up in and was shirtless. The rest of the pack was most of the time so he figured it wouldn't be a big deal if he was. The sounds of the pack coming to the house drew Charlie's attention but he didn't move from his spot on the couch. That was until a sudden weight was thrown on top of him.
"Oof.." Charlie gasped out as his eyes went to what was thrown on him. Only to meet the dark chocolate eyes that belong to Paul. "Was that really needed?" He blinked a bit at the male that was on top of him.
"Yeah." Paul smirked before moving to sit at his feet. He moved Charlie's feet on to his lap before throwing his arm over the back of the couch. "What are you doing?"
"Absentmindedly flipping through this magazine while waiting for one of you guys to show up to keep me company." Charlie said as he tossed the magazine on to the coffee table. "Do you want to do something?"
"I actually wanted to invite you to a bonfire happening tonight." Paul said as he ran a hand through his short hair. Charlie blinked at him surprised at the request. The only bonfire he could be talking about would be the one where the elders talk about the lore of the tribe. Why was he getting invited to that?
"Sounds like fun. What's it for?" Charlie asked sitting up. He left his feet on Paul's lap and rested his arms on his knees.
"Our tribe does it every once in a while. Our elders tell stories about the tribe." Paul said as he watched Charlie's movements closely.
"That sounds rather intimate.. should I really be invited to something like that? I'm not exactly part of the tribe." Charlie locked eyes with Paul to catch an amused look. Almost like what Charlie said was funny but he didn't understand why it would be. Unless someone imprinted on him but that didn't make much sense. Though he wouldn't be against getting imprinted on by one of the wolves. This world was pretty tamed for the humans around, so as long as he didn't come into contact with any vampires Charlie should be able to live a fairly long life here. But then again he did manage to die in the 'Friends' universe so anything could reasonable happen.
"You are practically part of the Pack now. You have been living here for like four days." Paul said patting his shoulder.
"Wow that's all it takes to become a member? Squatters rights?" Charlie laughed.
"I think it has more to do with Paul I..." Embry started to say as he walked into the living room but Paul quickly stood and put him in a head lock to keep him from saying anything else.
"Shut up!" Paul growled out.
"Wait what was he going to say?" Charlie asked sitting up completely with his feet on the ground.
"Nothing." Paul said quickly pushing Embry away from him. "You'll understand more tonight."
Charlie blinked a few times as he looked between the two wolves in front of him. Both of them seemed uncomfortable with the look that he was giving them. However Emily called out for lunch and both of them used it as an escape from the conversation. Charlie rolled his eyes before following after the two of them.
