It has been about two months since Charlie had awoken in the bunker. It didn't take long for Charlie to figure out when she had dropped in and to say she wasn't happy was an understatement. She had arrived only days after the boys had unlocked the bunker which meant the trials of closing the gates of hell were right around the corner. It also explained why Cass hadn't been seen since her first day of training and why Gabriel knew about her so quickly. Castiel was a solider of god again or Naomi anyways which meant more then lightly all of heaven knew about her. Charlie had promised herself something when she first realized when in the time line she was. She promised that no matter what or how, she was going to take Sam's place and actually shut the gates of Hell herself.

Charlie was sitting at the table in the library on her computer while Sam sat across from her and Dean was in the kitchen hopefully not burning the place down. She had gotten very close to the brothers in the last few months and the brothers have gotten quite attached to Charlie as well.

"Hey check this out" Dean walked in with three plates and set them in front of each of them. On the plate was a decent looking burger. Charlie and Sam shared a look before Charlie turned to Dean.

"You made this?" Charlie asked with a playful grin. She had naturally taken the cooking role since she hadn't been on a real hunt yet. She spent a lot of her time as the information center and cook but she didn't mind it. When they thought she was ready they would let her hunt.

"Come on we have a real kitchen for once" Dean said looking between Sam and Charlie. Charlie laughed before taking a bite of the burger she was given. She had to admit that Dean made a pretty good burger. Deans phone started to ring which made Charlie look up from her food. "Yeah?...Kevin? Kevin!" Dean looked at the phone before standing up. "Come on." Charlie and Sam shared a look before both standing up and following Dean out to the Impala.

The ginger was kind of excited. This was the first time that she was meeting Kevin in person. Kevin was one of those characters that you just had to love. The car ride was shorter then she would have guessed but she followed the boys inside of the boat and glanced around the place. It was interesting seeing things in real life instead of on a TV screen. She turned her head when she heard Dean tell them that he found him and flinched when she heard Kevin puking. She hated hearing people get sick. While Kevin and the brothers were talking, Charlie to be frank; wasn't listening to a single word. She had heard the conversation already and knew what was going on, what she hadn't done before was get a chance to read the notes on Kevin's wall. Sure most of it was nearly impossible for her to read or understand but she could make out a few words or thoughts. They were truly amazing. The sound of the door opening and closing made Charlie look around and noticed that Kevin and Dean were gone and Sam was setting up his laptop. Which meant Dean went to pick up some stuff and Kevin went to shower.

"Listen" Charlie said walking over and sitting in front of Sam. "I think I should be the one doing the trials."

"Your joking?" Sam asked looking up at her. "Did you not hear what the first trial is? You have to kill a hell hound and bathe in its blood."

"Yeah I know I think I can do it." Charlie said knowing full well that she wasn't confident in being able to. "These trials.. They are going to need someone powerful to do them and survive them we all know that." Charlie looked at Sam who sighed knowing that who ever did these trials there was a good chance of death. "A human with Four souls? Who better then to do it?" Charlie said confidently. "Even if I do die..ill move on to the next life and I'll have died closing the gates of hell! Saving you.. I mean everyone from so much pain."

"No" Sam said firmly. "I am not going to let you do this thinking its a death sentence!" He looked at her as if she was crazy. He started to think Dean and her were a lot alike. "And Dean isn't going to either. You are family and we aren't going to loss you."

"Sam you and Dean need each other." Charlie tried to argue.

"Yeah well we need you too" Sam told Charlie which made her stop in her tracks. She had never had anyone tell her that they needed her. Her eyes searched his to see if he was lying but everything about his expression was telling her that he spoke the truth. The two of them fell into a deafening silence until Kevin came out of the shower in fresh clothes.

"Hey I'm Charlie, we didn't get a chance to meet" Charlie stood up and held out her hand for him to shake.

"I'm Kevin nice to meet you." Kevin smiled at her.
