"Princess Charlotte please get up! You will miss your lesson..again!" A loud voice echoed the stone room. Charlie jerked up panting a bit as she looked around the room confused. Although she shouldn't really get confused anymore by waking up after death. "Princess Charlotte are you alright?" Charlie looked up and noticed an older woman in an old fashion maid dress. The name made her flinch slightly as she hated her full name.

"Why wont you call me Charlie?" Charlie asked surprised at how smooth her voice was.

"Charlie is a mans name! A princess deserves a beautiful name. Charlotte was your mother's ideas after all!" The woman said making Charlie wonder what world she had landed in. "Hurry up and lets get you dressed."

Normally Charlie would have gotten dressed on her own but she didn't know how the dress worked. After she was dresses and fed, Charlie managed to sneak away from the woman who she learned was Amelia, her servant.

"Well this is a sight. The princess sneaking away from her servant and ignoring her duties again" A male voice spoke up from behind her making Charlie spin around quickly. She had to use all of her will power to not allow her jaw to drop. It was Arthur Pendragon. Merlin was another one of her favorite shows and honestly she was more then excited to be in this world. It may be during the middle ages but to live along side of Merlin and King Arthur was a dream come true. "You know father wont be happy" he was clearly trying to hide a smile.

"Well you know I don't care what father thinks of me Arthur" Charlie said without thinking about it. She had learned that when she gave in to learning more about her set life during her time in Storybrooke, things came naturally. However it was a shock that she was made to be Arthur's seemingly twin sister as Arthur's mother died after his birth.

"Yes I know that pretty well by now." Arthur smiled and looked around. "Do you want to come to the pit with me and watch me train then?"

"Sure Arthur." Charlie smiled.

Charlie was sitting on top of a fence looking around as the knights laughed at something that Arthur did to his manservant. It seemed that Charlie was placed right in the beginning of the show which made her extremely happy. If she stayed alive long enough she would be able to grow with the characters, maybe change things. Although every time she tries to change things she ended up dead so maybe she shouldn't try.

"That's enough, you've had your fun my friend." Charlie's head snapped up to look over and see Merlin. He seemed confident which surprised her as while watching he seemed slightly nervous. Charlie jumped down from her spot and walked over getting there just in time for the knights to grab him.

"Release him!" Charlie said rushing over to Arthur and firmly stared down the knights. They seemed slightly star struck and unsure who they should listen to. "You can't just throw everyone in the dungeon that mocks you Arthur."

"Really? Because I think I can" Arthur waved his hand to send off the knights.

"Stop" Charlie spun around and looked at the knights. She glanced at Merlin who were looking at her with the same star struck eyes as the knights were but with more kindness in his eyes.

"Who is the future ruler of Camelot?" Arthur asked the knights who seemed to snap out of it and drag Merlin away from the training pit. "What is wrong with you today?!" Arthur yelled at his sister. Charlie flinched and stepped back from Arthur which made his eyes soften and him relax his shoulders. "I'm sorry for shouting at you. But you have no right to make a fool out of me like that!"

"A fool?!" Charlie asked surprised looking at him. "You don't need to rule with fear to be a good king. A great king rules with kindness and listens to their subjects. Not chain them as soon as they voice their opinion!"

"He called me a prat!" Arthur protested.

"He didn't know who you were. He was just standing up for someone who was getting treated wrongly." Charlie told him. Arthur seemed stunned at her statement and struggled with trying to find a comeback to her statement.

"Shouldn't you be at your lessons with Morgana or something?!" Arthur said annoyed before walking back to his knights to train.

Charlie rolled her eyes at Arthur. Sure she was happy to be placed during the first episode but she hated Arthur before he had Merlin as a manservant. Arthur was indeed a prat early on.
