Charlie let out a gasp as their eyes shot open once again. They sat up from their spot on the ground before looking around. Unlike all the other times they woke up, this time they was in an all white room. Charlie slowly stood up and walked a few feet while looking around some more. Taking a look down, she realized that she was back in her original body. There were definitely some pros and cons about being back in the body she hadn't seen since her, sixth life? Pros were just mostly because she had some type of sentimental feelings about the body she was born into.
When she died last time, she figured that would have been the last time she woke up. After all, she had learned that she would only have nine lives for her time in 'Supernatural'. Well they assumed she would only have nine lives because of how many souls she had left at the time. Maybe she was cursed to keep the cycle of living and dying over and over again. Would some higher being really be that cruel?
"Hello" A very iconic voice cause Charlie to snap out of her thoughts and spin around. Standing a few feet away from her was Morgan Freeman dressed in all white clothing. "I assume you have a lot of questions."
"Morgan Freeman is going to give them to me?" Charlie asked as she walked over to him.
"Not quite." He chuckled. "This isn't my natural form, it's just the one you would feel most comfortable with. I thought about taking Chuck's form but you seem to have a very strong hatred for him."
"Well yeah he is a psychopath." Charlie said then paused. "Are you saying that you are god?" She tilted her head to the side as she watched him.
"A god I suppose." Morgan hummed as he walked over to a desk that appeared out of nowhere and sat down behind it. He waved his hand and another chair on the other side of the desk appeared for Charlie.
"I'm just going to jump right in. Why me?" Charlie asked as she took the seat that had just appeared out of thin air. It wouldn't be the strangest thing she had lived through. "I mean my first life I was no one special. I spent 24 years of my life being extremely boring and very sad."
"Well that wasn't exactly your fault. With your body having so many souls in it at once during your first life, it caused the large amount of mental problems you had. As your body became less and less inhabitanted, it became easier for you to live." He said leaning back in his chair. "Your souls were all meant for each of the worlds you went to but when you were being created, each of the souls kind of just went to your mortal body on your first world."
"Why?" Charlie blinked as she was completely confused. "Wait so the TV shows and movies I jumped to are all like real worlds?"
"Yes. Energy some times cross over from different worlds as form of ideas. Which lead to your media being created. Your original world is the center of the multiverse." Morgan explained.
"Why? My original world was so boring." Charlie scuffed at the idea. At this point her head was hurting.
"Well that's why actually. Having no magic or anything of the sorts served as a sort of anchor for the rest of the worlds." He explained.
"My head hurts" Charlie rubbed her forehead and the being in front of her chuckled at the response she gave.
"It's a lot to take in, I know." He smiled.
"You still haven't explained why I ended up this way." Charlie circled back around to her original question.
"Because I don't know exactly why it happened. It wasn't planned. Some of your 'other selves' as we'll call them, ended up in the correct worlds but they didn't have anything guiding them. They were basically on autopilot. While other worlds didn't get a body at all." He answered her truthfully. She let out a sigh as she rubbed her eyes. "But I am giving you a choice."
"A choice?" Charlie asked looking up at him again. "What kind of choice?"
"Well because of all of the souls you had, it didn't give you a chance to live a long happy live in any of your lives." He said leaning forward, putting his hands together while locking eyes with her. "I am giving you the choice to choose one of your nine lives to return to and live a happy life. I will place you back to the moment before you died and whatever killed you would change."
Charlie's eyes widened at the new information. She could choose any one of her lives to return to? There were only three of the nine that she didn't want to return to. Which gave her a lot to choose from. If she returned to 'Charmed' she could spend time with actual witches and live a kind of normal life. If she returned to 'Supernatural' she could returned to Gabriel and change so many things. If she returned to 'Once Upon a Time', she could return to Jefferson and Grace and be part of that family. Returning to 'Merlin' meant being able to change all the things she wanted to and allow the feelings for Merlin to grow. 'Twilight' was also an option, having been killed by a vampire before he could grow his relationship with Paul. Going back to the animated world of 'Haiku' was also something that was something that interested him greatly as he had spent roughly nine years of his life in the world and had built an actual life there, not one that had just been given to them.
"I can choose anywhere?" Charlie questioned as she thought about her choice.
"Yup. You will be returned and if you would like, I can remove your memories of all your other lives you lived." He said with a smile.
Charlie sat in her spot for a long time. There was a lot of things to think about, the pros and cons for going back to each of the worlds. Charlie took a deep breath before looking back to the god disguised as Morgan Freeman.
"Okay. I chose..."
