It had been months since Charlie first woke up in Camelot and things have been very interesting. Events didn't change much with Charlie being there and because she tried to stay out of the cross fire of most events, she wasn't trying to change them. A lot of the events that happen early on in the show are very important in the relationship building between Merlin and Arthur. Charlie and Merlin had gotten very close over the last many months. He turned to her when he needed advice and she turned to him when she needed comfort. Charlie had actually lost track of the events happening. She tried hard when she first got here to keep track and remember what would happen next but with no idea how much time passes between each event it got annoying.

At the moment, Charlie was walking down a hall on a mission to go horse back riding. However she was pulled into a room as she was walking by. She went to scream when a large rough hand went over her lips to keep her from making any noise.

"Charlie it's me!" Merlin whispered in to her ear making her calm down. Once she realized the person holding her meant no harm, she closed her mouth and waiting for him to remove his hand. Once it was removed she looked around the room they were in to realize they were in Morgana's chambers.

"Why are we here?" Charlie asked looking at Merlin confused. She moved away from him and to the other side of the room divider only to gasp loudly. Laying on the bed was the druid boy Mordred. Fear flashed across her face as she watched Morgana running a rag over the boys forehead as he was clearly hurt. Charlie was unsure to do at this moment. Mordred did grow up to kill Arthur but he was just a child right now. There were so many events that happen between then and now that she could try and change or she could give up the boys location now and have him killed then and there. However that choice might end with her losing both Morgana's and more importantly Merlin's trust. "Merlin you can't be serious?!!" She turned to face the boy who she had grown very close with over her time here. They had a bond like none other which was probably why he was trusting her now. "The druid boy that my father and brother, along with all of Camelot knights are looking for and you hide him inside the castle?!" She whisper shouts at the male in front of her. Her head and heart were pulling her in two different directions and she didn't know which to follow.

"He is injured and only a child!" Merlin protested while watching her closely. It was easy for him to tell this was testing her limits right now and he felt bad for involving her but he knew she would be able to help. She was the princess after all. "I couldn't let your fathers men kill him." He locked eyes with Charlie who sighed heavily.

"How do you expect to heal him?" Charlie asked looking over at the boy before looking back at Merlin. "You aren't exactly a healer now are you?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Well I was hoping you would help me convince Gauis to help..."Merlin spoke making Charlie glare at him.

"You want to bring Gauis into this?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest. "He is already sticking out his neck enough keeping you" She whispered so Morgana couldn't here them. She looked back at the boy just as the boy looked to her.

"Help me traveler..." she heard the voice of the weak druid boy. Her eyes softened slightly as she watched him looking her way. Her heart won, Mordred could be saved...she hoped.

"I'll treat him" Charlie finally gave in rubbing her neck. "I just need some of his tools."

"Since when are you a physicain?" Morgana asked looking over to the two of them.

"Don't ask" Charlie said before looking back at Merlin. "You can get me the things right?"

"Yeah..yeah of course" Merlin answered after a moment of looking at Charlie. He was surprised she was actually going to help. He thought this would be to much and ruin their friendship. It was a lot to ask of someone and she was so willing. "I will go now" Merlin told them before leaving the room.

Charlie stood off to the side for a few moments still struggling with if she made the right choice. She had forgotten about the whole Mordred deal up until now.

"Charlotte?" Morgana asked her looking over at the blonde princess by the window. "You wont tell Urther or Arthur will you?" She asked. Charlie looked at Morgana unsure what to do. Morgana was already close to this boy and Charlie knew that if she did go tell Arthur about the druid boy that Morgana wouldn't trust her again and that would make it hard to save her from turning dark.

"Of course not." Charlie let out a sigh before walking over to the other side of the bed. She leaned over and put her hand on his forehead. "He is only a boy. My father is an idiot. Hopefully when Arthur is king he will realize that not all magic is evil."

"You truly believe that magic isn't evil?" Morgana asked looking up at her friend and sister.

"Magic is a talent. The person wielding it is either good or evil." Charlie told her.

"Can I tell you something?" Morgana asked playing with her long black hair. "I've been having these nightmares that seem to come true."

"Like a seer?" Charlie asked looking over at Morgana fully ready to be the person who tells Morgana the truth. Everyone lying to her made her feel why she could only trust her sister when she shows up.

"A seer you really think so?" Morgana asked looking at her.

"If you ever have another one of those dreams, come and tell me. I promise to believe it." The blonde looked at her sister. Of course Morgana wouldn't learn that until much later but Charlie was going to be a sister to Morgana no matter what. Morgana looked almost relieved to hear that from Charlie.

"Thank you."
