After talking with Kilgarah, Charlie returned to her chambers and went to sleep quickly after. In her dreams, events came back to her rather quickly about the show and technically her future now. She wondered what her just being alive would change but she was determined to make it a good change. She would save people who were worth saving and she would try her hardest to try and stop morgana from turning dark.

The next day went on rather slow. Charlie was forced to spend her morning inside learning about how to rule a kingdom. Uthur wasn't happy with how she ditched her tutor the day before which ended up with her getting a very firm speech about how it was Charlie's job to form a union with another kingdom. Basically all the king saw his daughter as was a barging chip. After lunch Charlie was finally freed from her tutor and she went straight to the physicians chambers to talk with Merlin. Hopefully he would remember her from yesterday when she tried to stop Arthur from throwing him in the dungeon otherwise this might be awkward.

Charlie got a few helpful directions from a few servants and even a knight, despite them all looking at her strangely seeing as she had lived in the castle her whole life. It didn't take her long to find the physician's room and she knocked before waiting a few moments for the older gentleman to open the door. He seemed rather surprised for her to be standing there and even more surprised that she knocked instead of just walked in.

"Charlotte, come in come in" Gaius moved out of the way and allowed Charlie to walk into the room with a smile on her lips. The room was rather interesting and it was amazing to be standing in it in person. The room smelled like medicine and plants. "How can I help you? Do you need any medicine?"

"Oh no" Charlie waved her hands in front of her with a nervous smile. "I'm really alright. I just came to apologize to the boy that is staying with you for what my brother did to him yesterday. It wasn't right for him to throw him into the dungeon. "

"Well Merlin was out of line to speak to Arthur like that" Gaius said as he closed the door and walked over to his table. It seemed that he was making something but she didn't know enough about any of this stuff to know what he was making.

"Merlin was standing up for a servant that Arthur was teasing" Charlie smiled as she sat down at the table he was working at. "Which is amazing. He didn't care what happened to him, he was looking out for a random man who he knew nothing about." Charlie sighed happily as she leaned on her palm as she propped her head on the table with her arm.

"Seems like you have feelings for Merlin" Gaius smirked as he looked down at Charlie. It was obvious that something about Charlie had changed since the last time he had meant with her but he wasn't going to question it as the change seemed to be for the better.

"What?! No" Charlie blushed brightly and shook her head making her new long beautiful blonde curls move back and forth. "Don't be silly Gaius! Even if I did, we both know I have no choice in who I end up with." Charlie told him. Now she knew if this soul fell in love with Merlin she could easily find a way to be with him seeing as Arthur ends up with Gwen. But in the eyes of everyone right now, Royal would only end up with other Royals.

"Gaius I finish delivering the medicines you ask me to.." Merlin walked into he room closing the door behind him. When he turned around his eyes went to Charlie who was sitting there with Gaius. He remembered her right away from yesterday. It would be nearly impossible to forget the beauty that tried to save him from being thrown in the dungeon. He thought about her a lot when he was in the dungeon. She must be rather important if she got the knights to pause from taking him away but he wasn't sure how important.

"Merlin this is Princess Charlotte." Gaius told Merlin. Merlin's eyes widened and he bowed slightly to be respectful.

"Please don't" Charlie blushed as she stood up and waved her hands quickly to stop him from bowing. "And when we are alone please call me Charlie, Charlotte is way to...formal." She smiled softly and walked over to Merlin. "I've come to apologize for what my brother did to you. I think it was very brave and kind to stand up for someone who you didn't even know. I don't believe that he should have thrown you into the dungeon for doing that. "

"Really?" Merlin asked with his classic goofy smile. That smile made Charlie smile as well and nod her head. "Well I couldn't let him pick on someone lower then him for fun."

"Merlin, Arthur is still the future king and you need to treat him as such," Gaius said making Merlin pale slightly and Charlie giggled at the look on Merlin's face.

"Don't worry, I'm trying hard to put Arthur in his place. Hopefully soon he will be a king you can be proud of." Charlie smiled at both of the males.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door that made the trio look towards the door and in walked a knight. It was the same knight that she had asked for directions while she was searching for Gaius' location. He looked between the two males before turning to Charlie.

"The king is looking for you Princess" The knight said making Charlie smile tightly.

"Thank you." Charlie said before following the knight out of the door. Before she left she turned back around and smiled at Merlin. "I'll see you around Merlin. Bye Gaius." Charlie waved before closing the door behind her.
