Charlie was getting bored being alone in the bunker by herself. It had been two days and because she didn't have a phone or the brothers number she had no idea how long it was going to be until they were back. Yesterday she was actually so bored that she went out and brought herself a laptop with the credit card she had been left and spent her time playing games or learning more about all the creatures she would be hunting soon. She had to learn as much as she could, about the stuff she didn't know, before the brothers returned so that when they did, they would be more willing to train her compared to her not knowing anything. She remembered a lot from the show so it wasn't hard to learn about monsters.
At the moment she was in the kitchen cooking dinner and baking a pie. She had a feeling that the boys would be back soon. Even if they weren't back tonight they could always eat left overs that she had made. She had a glass of whiskey and her computer playing music as she danced around the kitchen.
"Interesting thing to pop in on" A male voice made Charlie nearly drop the pie she was sliding into the oven. She placed it in and closed the door before turning around to face who had spoke.
"Gabriel?" Charlie asked surprised at the new face. She was sure that he was in hiding at the moment. Why was he here?
"Interesting. You know who I am but I don't know you" Gabriel smirked walking closer to her. Charlie turned off the burner of the pasta before turning back to him. "Who are you?"
"My name is Charlie. Why did you come out of hiding?" Charlie asked leaning against the counter as she took a drink of her whiskey.
"I'm still in hiding" Gabriel told her "but I had to come see what all the fuss was about. Four souls in one human woman" Gabriel looked her up and down making Charlie blush brightly. Why is it that she seems to attracted her favorite characters to her. Not that she minded at all. Sleeping with the arch angel Gabriel would be fun. She shook her head to get her mind out of the gutter and looked back at him still with a bright blush on her cheeks. "I gotta say it wasn't a disappointing trip." Gabriel grinned.
"What do you mean?" Charlie asked confused at his statement.
"The rumors were true for one and for two, you are very beautiful" Gabriel said grabbing Charlie's waist and pulled her to his chest. She squealed and put her hands on his chest. He had been very confident and straight forward in the show but for some reason she didn't think he would be in reality. Gabriel leaned down and went to kiss Charlie when the sound of the front door opening stopped him. Before she knew it Gabriel was gone from her sight. The brothers must have gotten home making Gabriel bail from the bunker. Charlie downed the last of her glass and turned back to finishing the pasta she was making.
"Charlie?" Sam called into the bunker as the brothers walked inside.
"In the kitchen!" Charlie called back as she was putting the noodles into a bowl. When the kitchen door opened she glanced back and smiled. "Hey I am making spaghetti. You guys hungry?" She asked.
"How did you know we were coming back tonight?" Sam asked as he walked over and turned off the music. Dean didn't seem to be with him. He was more then likely putting away his things.
"I didn't I figured you guys would be home soon enough because you guys were gone for a few days already" Charlie talked as she was putting together the pasta. "I figured you guys could get left overs. The pie being the only thing I was worried about"
"Your making a pie?" Sam smiled looking at her surprised.
"Yeah I figured Dean would enjoy it. It's apple" Charlie smiled softly at Sam. "Where is Dean anyways?"
"He is just putting his things away. He was going to go get some food and beer but it looks like you got that covered so I'll warn him" Sam joked before leaving the kitchen.
Charlie sighed softly as she started to set the table for the three of them. Her mind kept going back to Gabriel and his weird behavior. Why was he interested in her? If he could find her there was no telling who else would be looking for her. Gabriel did say there were rumors about her going around. As far as she knew Castiel was the only one who was suppose to know about her.
"I heard there was pie" Dean walked into the kitchen rubbing his hands together excited for homemade pie.
"Its in the over but it should be done by the time we finish eating" Charlie smiled as she placed the last dish on the table.
"Did Castiel every find out anything about you?" Sam asked after dinner. Dean was to busy stuffing his face with the still steaming apple pie to put any input to Sam's question.
"Yeah he did" Charlie sighed as she looked down at her hands. "Apparently I have four souls." Dean choked on the fork full of pie he was eating. At first Charlie thought it was because of what she said but as he just kept eating it must have been because he ate to fast.
"Four souls? How is that possible" Sam asked after Deans choking moment.
"Castiel doesn't know. He thinks that every time I died I lose one which means I had nine at one point." Charlie ran a hand through her hair. "So we can assume I only have four lives left. Three after this one."
"Does he know why?" Sam asked.
"Nope just that I might attract things because of the four souls." The ginger told him. "Which means I want to learn how to hunt. I already know a butt load of lore and how to kill things I just need to know how to fight. If I don't learn I'm just going to be a sitting duck waiting for something to kill me and for my next life to start. I mean this world isn't perfect but I want a chance to make a difference and what you guys do..it makes an amazing difference even if you guys can't see it."
"I for one vote she stays" Dean spoke for the first time making Sam and Charlie turn to look at him. "This is the best pie I've ever had"
Charlie and Sam looked at each other for a moment before they both started laughing.
