Fan 1: Huh, I wonder where that Wattpad writer is. She hasn't posted the whole weekend!
Fan 2: Maybe she's tired.
Fan 3: Maybe she got COVID.
Fan 4: I heard she's at her own FUNERAL.
(all fans turn to stare)
Fan 2: ....yeah no.
Fan 1: Well, I jolly well think she's probably having a great time somewhere, not posting for a while-
(door bursts open)
(I walk in looking like the living dead T3T)
Me: I aM bAcK iDiOtS
Fans: ...what happened to you
Me: (obviously beat up) DiD yOu MiSs Me??
Fan 3: ...what happened? you dissapeared for, like, the whole weekend
Me: Well so many YouTubers dissapear for a whole MONTH and do YOU complain?? HM??!
Fans: (silence)
Me: WaNnA hEaR wHaT hApPeNed??
Fan 1: Didn't you say you had a swim meet on Saturday?
Me: Well, I was jumping around on Friday, and I literally collasped. My legs felt kind of weird, like they couldn't support my weight, but of course, my parents didn't believe me.
Fan 3: Why?
Me: When I told them I got an A on a test, they didn't believe me ;-;
Fan 4: ...harsh.
Me: Right?? So anyway, I still had to go to the meet, because PARENTS. I finally got first place in 100 yard backstroke though sooo....
Fan 2: That's great!
Me: I know right I haven't gotten first place since forever in a competition. If you wanna win, just be good at something everyone's terrible at. But during the meet, it was really hot around the pool area where the coaches made us sit, because, um, we had to take turns to compete. I got a really bad headache and NO ONE noticed like wtf??
Fan 3: Really? That's terrible!
Me: If someone's suffering, at least help them somehow! And my legs still hurt o_O
Fan 1: Okay, you had a meet on Saturday, but where were you on Sunday?
Me: Ah, I was going to be free, but my dad had the bRiLlIaNt idea (note the sarcasm) to go picking cherries. Where it's like 111 degrees Farenheit there.
Fan 3: ...so?
Me: SO I NEARLY DIED OF HEATSTROKE
Me: I can stand bellow freezing temperatures actually for a while, but my maximum temperature is like 100 degrees! In my world, 50 degrees is tropical.
Fan 4: Most people can stand that.
Me: I guess I'm not normal then. But we did buy ice cream on the way back sooo yah.
Fan 2: Was picking cherries fun though? I mean, besides you dying from heatstroke and your legs still hurting?
Me: I got a bloody nose? And my parents kept arguing about if the cherries were ripe or not?
Fan 3: I mean, you could've ignored them.
Me: Yeah, that would've been easy if MOM TOLD ME I DON'T HAVE COMMON SENSE
Fans: WhAt
Me: This is considered normal in my family don't worry. 😅
Fan 1: Your family is weird.
Fan 2: Don't be rude!
Me: It's fine, we are kinda weird. We're all Ravenclaw jerks here
Fan 4: Does this always happen when you go somewhere?
Me: Pretty much. They say if one person's not having fun, no one's really having any fun.
Fan 4: People say that? Hm.
Me: I know I'm so wise 😎
Fan 1: So that's all that happened?
Me: Well, when we paid for the cherries, dad told me to wash my hands at the sink. Thing is, there were two dogs near the sink, and when I washed my hands, they started barking like crazy. Dogs are trained specially to protect their owners, which is why they always bark at the door. So, when we left with the cherries, the dogs actually tried to BITE me! Why me? Why does everything happen to me??
Fan 1: Did they actually bite you??
Me: No, my arm is still clearly attached to my body.
Fan 1: You could be typing with one hand.
Me: You think?
Fan 2: (obviously trying to stop argument) Well, um, we're glad you've made it back in one piece!
Fan 1: (quietly) Most of us
Me: I hEaRd ThAt
Fan 3: She's talking like that that's not a good sign.
