A/N: NEW SERIES! Here I'll explain:
~<3~
Hello my peeps and bonbons, KAYdance here :>
So, as you can probably figure out, I am a clumsy idiot, and I've gotten myself in a number of dumb situations (figures) over the course of my life.
I was thinking of story ideas, and then suddenly I was like, "WAIT, what if I talked about weird moments in my life, like the time I almost drowned (yeah, long story)?!"
So that's our new series! I'll post stuff like that every other chapter (until I run out of stories; look my life's only so long)-I mean, if you want *shrug*.
Enjoy <3

Every Saturday, Dad and I have a family "tradition" to bike to a park about a mile from our house. It's a pretty cool park, and the view is totally worth the mile-and-a-half bike trail.
Remember my friend Cathy? She invited her other friend Ada (not her real name!) and I to go biking on the trail in the park to the next town. Now, this trail is about four miles long, it was really sunny and bright out, and I only had one water bottle and one pair of legs. So of course I was like "OH HELL YEAH!"
(I actually don't remember what I said...0-0)
We started from the parking lot, and then turned into the trail. The view on the trail is really nice, and you can see the downtown.
But, not that far into the trail is a tight turn around a curved and steep slope. Getting up the slope requires lots of strength. I should know, because it took me forever to bike up. But something I didn't figure out as easily is how to get DOWN the slope.
All you bikers should know that biking down a steep slope is hard to manage. If you go to fast, then you'll probably end up crashing into the trail. Go to slow, and eventually your bike breaks will, um, break.
So when we did the HUGE loop and came back to this curved slope, my friends went down no problemo. But, when it was my turn, I might have picked up too much momentum, which literally threw me forward on my bike.
I tried to stop, but I fell over SIDEWAYS. There were these bushes with thorns on them next to the trail, and I literally CRASHED into one of those; my bike as well (you have failed me, bike).
A/N: It wasn't a nettle bush, for those who are wondering. I thought it was at first, but I did a quick search, and it wasn't. So I'm still going to call it the Nettle Incident cause it has a nice ring on it :-)
It hurt like HELL.
There were thorns piercing my arms, legs, face, whatever. Don't try to imagine it too much. But seriously, I had a bunch of scratches everywhere! I had to pull out some thorns when I emerged from the bush.
Cathy and her friend are both YOUNGER than me. And I was crying cause a) It hurt b) I was traumatized (never will I be able to face those bushes again) and c) I was really embarassed ;_(
So of course it was kinda embarassing and sad to have to push my bike back the rest of the trail with Cathy's dad. Never will I ever again ;-;
I didn't bike for weeks after that incident.
Tragic.

Aaaaand that's it for now! Yeah, don't worry, that was ages ago, but I still have a mark of a scratch on my arm (???).
Now I'm really careful when I bike down steep slopes on that trail. I use breaks :)
Anyway, thanks for reading, remember that your singing is beautiful to you and others who also believe it (random lol) and DON'T FALL INTO A BUSH OF NETTLES >:(
Baiiiiiii bonbons and peeps <3
