Who here loves food??! If you do, then you should try MAKING it!!
......
I mean if you want to 0-0
I am one of those people who loves binge eating snacks, but can barely get them because their super-strict parents forbid them to consume sugar regularly. 🙄
It's sexist, isn't it? Cause sometimes they call me fat and stuff-
Anyway, I don't consider myself unhealthy or sugar obsessed, because I barely get the stuff. I have to BEG my parents to get milk tea for me :,(
Then COVID comes around, and after a week of bliss and freedom, I start to feel bored as hell at home ;-;
I think I literally went crazy during quarantine because I was so bored and lonely. Luckily, I have you guys now<3
So, since my mom was also bored (and running low on toilet paper lol XD) she decided to bake a lot. She doesn't bake much now, but she used to be obsessed making all sorts of stuff.
We made cakes, cookies, sweets, all sorts of stuff. She usually baked when she was in a good mood (rarely), and most of the things were Chinese cuisine type, like egg tarts and sesame balls (which are delish btw :)P)
I used to help her actually, and it was cool to make really yummy sweets after all the effort.
Yeah, we got all sorts of new hobbies during COVID. I got one of those old-fashioned photos which need film, and I started knitting more often. I made a scarf and hat for mom and dad during Christmas actually (yes, we celebrate Christmas :D)
One racist thing my dad says a lot is that people don't really know how to cook and bake these days, so when I was about 10 he let me make my own lunch. I mostly made noodles or heated up leftovers, because I didn't trust myself to stir-fry anything yet.
