So for those of you who still haven't figured out my name since I haven't really made it clear, it's Cadence.
Yup! My name's Cadence :D Nice to meet you!
It's simple enough to remember right? It's pronounced how I spell it on the internet: KAY-dance.
Yet some knuckleheads who can remember names like Mary, Emily, and Amanda can't string together my name, and they end up calling me "Candace".
Happens all the time. It's pretty tragic.
Now, some of you guys must be like "But it's just a simple misunderstanding! Why are you so worked up about people calling you Candace?"

YOur name is a way you identify yourself, like your gender, your sexuality, whether or not you perfer pizza or hotdogs, etra.
I personally perfer pizza, but hotdogs are really good....
ANYWAY you would definetly be upset if someone thought your name was something else!
Candace is a more popular name than Cadence, so people automatically assume that I'm Candace.
Exhibit one: Once I was with my childhood friend Claire. I'm not friends with her anymore, because shortly after this story she threw a rubix cube at me after we had a fight.
We were watching My Little Pony, and she told me that Princess Candace was named after me.
I was like, "No, IDIOT, my name's Cadence >:T"
Exhibit two: Whenever I meet new teachers or adults, they look at the roster, and are like, "Okay, Candace, let's get you situated."
CAN YOU PEOPLE READ??
Exhibit three: Sometimes my classmates call me Katelyn. There's an actual girl named Katelyn in my school, but we look nothing alike. For one, she kind of looks like a Karen.
Exhibit four: Sometimes people spell my name wrong.
It's really annoying! It's like if you were a girl and people assumed you were a boy 🙄
I really like my name, and I actually took the time to create a signature for myself.

Whenever I draw a drawing, I sign it off with my signature.

Cady is my nickname (CADence). Most people are confused when I tell them my nickname's Cady, because they think I mean Katie.
I don't really blame them. The only person I've heard of who has the same nickname is Elizabeth Cady Santon, and she was a women's rights leader so yeah.
That's why I believe in the equal treatment of women<3
Once one of my friends went to a speech camp, and she made a speech about me being her friend!
I was really honored, because who wouldn't want to have a speech about themselves?!
But she got 100th place, mainly because "people didn't think "Cady" was a real name"
Like what the F???!

Hey peeps and bonbons! It's been a while right?
I'm sorry, I've been busy AND LAZY lately, and sometimes I can't work up the energy and motivation to get up and write the darn chapter already.
I wrote this a while back, because I couldn't post because of PARENTS.
It's a long story really.
