Lillian chuckled at the old 90’s comedy movie, not even realizing Zane had fallen asleep. Her arm had fallen asleep though since the dang baby was getting so fat and starting to look like one of those cabbage patch dolls.

She turned to Ryan, slapping his leg, “Wasn’t that just funny? Now I remember why this is my favorite movie—you’re not even watching it,” she said when she realized this whole time Ryan wasn’t watching the movie but playing on his phone.

Ryan set the phone down on his chest, “I’ve seen this movie a million times Lil, I’m kind of bored.”

“Well what else do you want to watch?” she asked as she got up from the bed and placed Zane in the crib and turned back to him, “There is nothing else on TV.”

He sat up and held his hand out to her. She smiled and sat down on his lap, “I have an idea,” he said, kissing her and she giggled. She brought her hands up to his neck as they kissed. It was slow, sweet, and innocent. She felt butterflies in her stomach.

Soon Ryan kissed her hard and slid his tongue into her mouth. They didn’t make out so often so much now and it felt like as if they were kissing all over from the start again. She still blushed and giggled.

Soon he moved his mouth down to her chin and moved down to her neck. She woke up from the daze she was in and pushed him back, but he just moved back to her neck, kissing and sucking on it, “Ryan, stop. Zane’s right there!” she whisper hissed at him.

“He’s asleep and even if he was awak, he wouldn’t understand any of it,” he said, biting softly on her neck making her jerk and she hated the feeling she felt.

“Your parents could come home any second!” she told him.

He scoffed, “They won’t be home until one, its fine, Lillian,” he said, tugging her shirt up and she giggled, but stopped his hands.

“Wait, Ryan, I feel funny about Zane being right there still,” she said, finally able to pull him away from her neck. She was willing to have sex with Ryan, she was on the Depo-Provera since she was in no way of a hurry to have another baby, but having her son right there where he could wake up and see it, she doesn’t care if he didn’t understand, she felt weird about it.

He groaned and tossed her off him. He went over to Zane’s crib and grabbed one of his extra blankets, covering the rail where Zane was hidden behind the blanket and he turned on the radio next to Zane’s crib on and played the soft lullaby music.

He turned back around with a stiff smile, “Happy?” he asked before getting back on the bed and grabbed her feet, sliding her down onto her back and she uncontrollably giggled again. He went back in-between her legs and started kissing her neck, pulling her shirt up.

“Your bad,” she told him and he chuckled. “Don’t be loud, please,” she said, not wanting Zane to wake up and have to hear them or start crying, making them stop.

“Yeah, me be quiet,” he said sarcastically and she ignored him. “Seven months is far too long for me.”

Lillian had a smile on her face as she answered down the Bio question on a work piece of paper and she was wide awake. She had to admit, she was happy. She thought she and Ryan weren’t having a little trouble in the romance part of their relationship but she felt better about it all. She felt so loved by him last night, something she hasn’t felt since school started since they were always either busy or felt like one of those married couples who been married for a long time and ignore each other.

And Zane did not wake up at all, until he got hungry later in the night of course, but he slept just like a happy baby as he did every night.

When class was over, she was actually the first person to turn in her work to Mr. Deck and he was actually kind of surprised when he took it from her but didn’t say anything and let her go free.
