Lillian beezed herself over to Ryan and grabbed his shirt, “I’m ready to go.”, she told him.

He looked at her a little surprised, “Huh?”, he asked. He chuckled, “Lil, we only be here for about two hours. It’s not even midnight yet.”.

“Oh well.”, she said, her voice getting hard cause she was getting irritated. “I want to go home now, your almost drunk anyways."

“Come on, Lil, just a bit longer.”, he said, wrapping an arm around her and brought her close, leaning down to kiss her, but she moved his face away, feeling a little bit ashamed. She couldn’t stop thinking about how Duncan kissed her and she felt bad. She knew she shouldn’t, she didn’t want him to kiss her, but she still let it happened. He sighed, “I’m not ready to go home yet.”, he said, taking his arm away from her.

She looked back at him, her mouth dropped a little, “But Ryan—I am!”.

“But I’m not.”, he said. “Even, I think I am a little drunk, I shouldn’t drive right now.”.

“How are we suppose to get home then?”, she asked, scuffing.

“I’ll have James or someone drive us home.”, he shrugging, bring the bottle of Corona up to his mouth.

“Ryan!”, she said. “I want to go home now.”.

“Okay, what’s wrong?”, he asked, shrugging his right shoulder. “You were just having so much fun and now your all moody and shit.”.

“Cause I’m just tired!”, she said, not wanting to tell him why she wanted to right now cause she doesn’t know Ryan could do and she doesn’t want him and Duncan fighting right now right here. Their both drunk and acting stupid right now. “And I want go home now.”.

“Well I don’t.”, he said. “I’m not tired and I’m not ready to home. Just one more hour.”.

“No.”, she said. She then realized she isn’t going to win this, Ryan drunk and he’s not going to leave. She sighed frustration, “Fine, you stay but I’m leaving.”, she said, turning around to leave.

“What?”, he asked, grabbing her wrist. “You can’t walk home, it’s a thirty minute walk and it’s freezing cold outsider. Don’t act crazy, Lil.”.

She snatch her wrist back and turned to him, “Take me home then.”.

He brought the his hand up to the back of his neck, “I can’t, I’m drunk.”, he said and she gave him an annoyed look. “Look, go up to one of Madison guest bedroom and lay there. I’m come up and get you when I’m ready to go.”.

“When you’re ready to go?”, she asked, raising an eyebrow. “We’ll be here all night!”.

“Stop yelling at me!”, he said. “We wont be here all night, Lillian. Just an hour, okay.”.

Lillian pressed her lips together and glared at him before turning around and left, Ryan not coming after her. She squeeze her way threw teenagers and colleges people over to the front door. Once she made it out safe, she reached into her small purse and took out her cell phone, calling Jeanette. She walked away from the house so she could have a better chance at hearing her.

After Jeanette picked up her phone, Lillian asked if she could come pick her up. She seem hesitate, but agreed and said she’ll be there in fifteen minutes. Lillian wrapped her arms around her waist since she was getting cold. She was tapping her foot against the ground, rubbing her arms trying to warm herself up. She wish she would have brought a jacket with her now.
