Chapter Fourteen.

This is a suprise chapter, you'll see why later!!

            Lillian poked Ryan’s shoulder, “Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey.”, she said and he groaned, pulling the blankets over his head. She pursed her lips and shook his shoulder, “Ryan, you have to get up. We have to get Zane from my parents, it’s twelve o’clock already.”.

            He groaned again, “No, I don’t want to.”.

            “And I don’t want to listen to your snoring.”, she said. “Come on, I made coffee, you can drink it on the way there.”.

            “You need to learn how to drive, Lil.”, he said.

            “You know I will in the summer, but right now we have to go. My parents wont bring him, so it’s our job to go get him.”, she said, then slap his butt real hard. “Come on, get up! I want to go get my son.”.

            His arm tossed out of the blanket, “Um, ow! And fine, I’m up.”, he said, tossing the blanket off him and sat up on the bed.

            She smiled and slipped on her moccasins. She grabbed her jacket and went downstairs to go make Ryan some coffee as he got dressed. She put the lid on the coffee cup and she heard Ryan walking down the stair real slowly. She walked into the living room and giggled, “You look hot.”, she said as she handed him the coffee.

            He had on his flannel pants, a t-shirt, his jogging jacket, and slipper. He had on a beanie and the pieces of his standing out were curly. He needs a haircut though, it was getting pretty long.

            “I’m jumping back into bed when we get home.”, he said.

            They got into the car and drove to her parents house. She got out of the car and walked up to the door, letting herself. She saw Zane crawling around the floor with Cassandra next to him.

            “That’ll be fifty dollars now please.”, Cassandra said and Lillian put her hand on her hip, giving her a look.

            “We didn’t say we’ll pay you, this is family.”, she said and picked Zane up, giving him kisses on his chubby cheeks and he smiled. “He was good though, right?”.

            “Yes, an angel.”, she said as she got up from the floor and kissed his cheek

            Lillian watched as Zane worked his way onto Ryan’s back and took a fist pull of his hair, pulling it. “Ow!”, Ryan said, reaching behind him and grabbed Zane from the back of his oneies and turned around onto his back, “No need for an alarm clock anymore I guess.”, he said, holding Zane up in the air and Zane put his index finger in his mouth as he giggled. He brought Zane down and laid him on his chest and Zane pushed himself up, reaching towards Ryan and he fell, his mouth going onto Ryan chin.

            “Uh-oh.”, Lillian said, lifting Zane up and he put his hands back on Ryan’s chest, lifting himself up.

            “Baba.”, Zane suddenly said when he reached out to Ryan’s mouth. Both Ryan and Lillian froze, both gasping before laughing in excitement. Lillian brought her hand up to her mouth, her eyes watering in tears of joy. Zane had always made little noises, but that’s the first time he actually said something.

            “Yes, that’s me!”, Ryan said, pointing at him.

            “Hey!”, Lillian said. “What if he was trying to say mama?”,
