We arrived at Jake's house. Once Sunghoon parked the car, we walked onto the front porch with our things. Jake has a big ass house; I only noticed how big it was when I stood in front of it. It's gigantic. I've heard the guys joke around about how rich him and Jay were, but didn't think they were actually this rich.
They definitely don't act like it. Those two are so humble and kind, they're not snobby like your typical rich person at all. That's what I love about this group. They're all so kindhearted in their own ways, and they definitely don't act like they're better than everyone else and I love that.
Sunghoon rang the door and we waited for someone to let us in. Almost immediately, the door unlocked and opened; Sunghoon and I were greeted by Jungwon. Once Jungwon saw that it was us, he smiled cutely at me. Flashing his cute dimple, he gave me a quick but strong hug.
"Noona! You're here." Jungwon gave me one last squeeze then let go.
"Hey hyung." The two high fived each other.
Jungwon stepped out the way and the two of us walked in, greeted by the rest of the guys in the living room, either on the couch or on the floor while playing games and eating snacks.
The guys noticed us and began to all grin.
"They're finally here. What took you guys so long?" Jake walks back into the living room with some Melona popsicles.
"We're on time?" Sunghoon raises his eyebrows in confusion.
"It's 8." Riki laughs out loud.
"What were you guys doing? Too busy mingling with each other?" Heeseung snorts.
"Hey! Leave them alone, hyungs. At least they're here now." Sunoo smiles brightly at me.
I smile back as I sit down next to Jay and Heeseung on the floor. I put my backpack down next to me and watched them play Mario Kart all together. Sunghoon was on the couch next to Sunoo, on his phone playing Minecraft while he ate sweet potato chips.
Heeseung held up his popsicle in front of me, waiting for me to take a bite. I grin at him and take a bite of his popsicle, then he puts it away from me and finishes the last bites. I look over in the corner of my eye and see Sunghoon staring at Heeseung and I, giving me a blank expression. I smile at him and his eyes soften, as he gives me a small smile back. He then resumes back to Minecraft on his phone.
"ARGHH!!!" Jay yells out in his deep voice. "You're cheating, hyung! No way I'm losing to you right now!" He exclaims to Heeseung.
Heeseung laughs along with the other guys. "You're just bad." he giggles.
"Stop yelling so much. The neighbors will complain and call the police. They're like, all busy eating gold on their plates and stuff." Jake scoffs playfully.
"The girl next door to Jake hyung's house actually asked Jay out when we first came." Riki snickers.
"Really? What did you say, Jay?" I look at him.
"I said no, of course." Jay scoffs. "Love is a waste of my time. It isn't for me."
"Jay hyung gets a lot of confessions every day, but he rejects every single one of them." Sunghoon adds on.
"Jay hyung's only interested in shoes and games. That's pretty much it." Sunoo explains.
"Was Jake's neighbor pretty, though?" I ask out of curiosity.
"She was okay." Jay shrugs.
"She's spoiled and bratty. I'm glad you said no." Jake says to him.
"Isn't your whole neighborhood bratty and snobby?" Heeseung laughs.
