I went downstairs to open the door for Sunwoo. I open the front door, seeing Sunwoo with his bright red hair that stood out as always. He smiles as soon as he sees me. He comes in, taking off his shoes.
"Eric's upstairs." I turn around, about to go upstairs.
In a snap of a finger, my wrist gets pulled and then all of a sudden my body's pressed up against Sunwoo's. He was holding me tightly, his arms around my waist and my head laying on his chest. I can feel his heart beating really fast, his body really warm.
My mom luckily wasn't home. She had went out to lunch with her business friends, and she wasn't coming back tonight.
"Kim Sunwoo, what are you doing?" I chuckle nervously.
"Just stay here like this, just for a little." He whispers softly.
"K-Kim Sunwoo-"
"Shhh.. don't say a word.. please stay here like this.." he whispers again, cutting me off.
"Eric will see us, and he'll flip out-"
"It doesn't matter. I want you. Here with me. Like this." He softly mumbled.
Man, this kid is weird.
"Sunwoo, you weirdo.." I giggle softly.
"Shut up." He laughs quietly.
He finally lets go of me, his cheeks as red as his hair. He gives me a shy smile, grabbing my hand and taking me upstairs to my room. He lets go of my hand before we walk inside.
Eric's still on my bed; he's under the blanket at this point, he was fully covered with the blanket except for his head and hands since he was holding his phone. Eric looks away from his phone and noticed Sunwoo, chuckling nervously.
"You little brat." Sunwoo glares at him.
"Hahaha..."
"Behave." I glare at the both of them.
"You let Eric lay in your bed like this?" Sunwoo frowns at me.
"Well, yeah-" Eric cuts me off.
"OF COURSE she does!" Eric laughs loudly.
"Not fair." Sunwoo crosses his arms.
"You can lay in my bed, too." I furrow my eyebrows at the strawberry head.
"Okay, good! Just don't lay in the middle, Eric will touch you." Sunwoo grabs my hand.
"No! She's staying in the middle!" Eric argues.
"Rock paper scissors." I say to them.
Eric ended up winning, so that meant I had to lay in the middle. We got into bed, our bodies under the blanket together. It definitely felt weird with Sunwoo laying here. I'm used to laying with Eric, but with Sunwoo.. this is a first. Plus it was uncomfortable because he was being weird around me.
We're all on our own phones doing our own thing. Under the blanket I feel Sunwoo's big hand grab mine, nudging me to scoot closer to him. I glare at him, but then he gives me these puppy eyes. I couldn't resist, it was just too cute. I moved over closer to Sunwoo and he smiles at me.
Eric didn't seem to notice. If he did notice, he would've made a big deal out of it. I would've thought Sunwoo would let go of my hand by now, but he hasn't. His fingers are intertwined with mine, him holding my hand tightly.
I gulped, not sure how to feel. My heart was beating and I kept feeling butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. Part of me liked it, but the other part told me to stop falling for it. I can't fall for him, I can't. School is more important than relationships right now, I shouldn't be focused on this type of stuff.
I'm confused as to how I feel about Sunwoo. A lot of me feels this weird connection towards him that I wouldn't have with a regular friend.. but the other little part of me just feels stupid. I snap out of it and pull my hand away from his, holding my phone with both hands. He doesn't seem to mind, as he's scrolling through Instagram.
"Hm hm hm~" Eric hummed happily.
"You are so bipolar. You were mad just twenty minutes ago." I laugh at him.
"Am not bipolar!" He shakes his head aggressively.
"Yes you are." I snort.
"You know what's not bipolar? My feelings for you~" he's chuckling, while smirking at me.
"Disgusting." I give him a disgusted face.
"What's disgusting about it?" He crosses his arms.
"Everything." I respond.
"Jihyun." I can hear Sunwoo softly call out, but I was too distracted by Eric.
"No! You're just a tsundere." Eric sticks his tongue out at me.
"What the- I am not! You're completely wrong."
"Jihyun.." Sunwoo calls out softly again from my other ear.
"You act like it disgusts you, but you actually love it! You love me!" Eric giggles like a child.
I sit up on the bed, my body turned towards Eric. I'm fully ready to argue with this Icee boy.
"It genuinely disgusts me. Deep down in my heart, deep deep down, it grosses me out. It gives me the shivers." I glare at him.
"Jihyun." Sunwoo's voice got a little louder, but it was still really soft.
Again, I was too distracted arguing with Eric, so I didn't respond to Sunwoo.
"You love me, Hyunnie~" Eric coos.
"That's disgusting." I frown.
"Hyunnie, oh Hyunnie~~ I love you darling~"
"What the fu- what is wrong with you??" I cringe hearing this from Eric.
"Honey, I love you~" he gives me an overly dramatic smile.
"Eric." I glare at him.
"Let's get married, honey~ have kids with me~"
