Once third period class was over, it was lunch time; Eric and I walked to the lockers before going to the cafeteria so I can put some things away. He stood there waiting for me as I organized my bag.
"Dude, hurry up! Sunwoo has juice for me." Eric whines.
"I'm done, dumb ass." I glare at him and we walk into the cafeteria.
Stares were placed on us; specifically me, as soon as we walked into the cafeteria; again, I held my head up and had a blank expression on my face, ignoring the people staring.
We walk over to the table and I sit down next to Sunwoo, since he was saving a spot for me next to him. He looks at me with a small smile and scoots closer to me, putting his arm around my waist.
"Are you going to get boba with us, Sunwoo?" Juyeon looks at him.
"Yeah. Jihyun promised that she'd buy me boba and ice cream." Sunwoo smiles.
"I told you, if you bribe him, he'll go automatically." Juyeon laughs.
"I wish I could go.. such a bummer." Sangyeon pouts.
"Don't pout in an aegyo way again, you old man." Younghoon deadpans.
"Hey, I'm not even old!"
"You are the oldest grandpa of all grandpas." Changmin snorts.
"Wah.. the things I do for you kids, and to get this back.. there's no use raising children.." Sangyeon sighs.
"See what I mean? You even talk like an old man." Younghoon laughs loudly.
"Hey guys.. I'm sorry for lashing out yesterday. I was just stressed." Sunwoo speaks up with a small frown.
"It's okay, we all have our moments." Hyunjae says to him.
"Just tell us whenever something's wrong, okay? We'll help you." Jacob says.
"Thanks, hyungs. Sorry again," Sunwoo smiles in embarrassment.
"Don't be sorry, idiot!" Chanhee exclaims.
"Although you were a bit scary.." Younghoon mutters.
"Right? Sunwoo is scary when he's mad." Changmin snorts.
"He's like Satan when he's mad.." Jacob whispers.
"Dude, you're so right!" Kevin laughs.
"Hey. What time are we going?" I change the subject, looking at Eric.
"Around 3:30. We'll meet at your house." Eric says to me.
"Sounds good." I remove Sunwoo's arm from my waist, and he giggles like a child.
I pull out my phone after getting a notification from Animal Crossing; I scoot closer to Eric and rest my head on his shoulder, logging into the game. Eric notices my head on his shoulder and he chuckles softly, putting his head on mine in return.
"Hyun-ie, how is Taehyun doing?" Eric asks me.
"He's okay. He's moving back into my house in a week." I respond.
"Who's Taehyun?" Changmin asks.
"My brother." I respond.
"You have a brother?" Hyunjae gasps dramatically.
"Yeah, they're so cute together. 2Hyun." Eric giggles.
"Maybe you should invite him with us today," Juyeon suggests.
"I'll text him and ask later on." I say.
"Oh my god, I'm so excited." Sunwoo squeals.
"For what?" I ask him.
"Ice cream rolls! They're so good! Especially in Chinatown." He smiles. "What's your favorite flavor from there, Jihyun?"
"Matcha." I respond right away.
"Same!!" Eric and Sunwoo exclaim in unison.
"I like cookies and cream. The matcha ice cream from there tastes weird to me." Kevin says.
"Yeah, same. The birthday cake one is good, too." Hyunjae agrees with him.
"You eat too much sweets, Hyunjae. You'll get diabetes." Juyeon deadpans.
"You're exaggerating. I don't eat that much sweet stuff."
"Yes you do, hyung." Eric joins in.
"I'm so jealous.. going out to eat ice cream on a nice day like this.." Chanhee whines.
"Right? So jealous." Jacob sighs loudly.
"Maybe soon enough, we'll all go together. Maybe on the weekend! We should all hang out on Saturday like we always do, just with Jihyun." Sangyeon suggests.
"That's such a good idea. Your old man brain is finally useful for once." Younghoon snickers.
"Yeah. You should come with us, Hyunnie." Eric lightly pokes my thigh.
"I'm not an old man, for the last time!" Sangyeon argues.
"You are totally an old man." Hyunjae snickers.
"A stubby old man." Kevin claps while he's laughing.
"Seriously, I'm not that old!"
"Stubby man~"
"Jihyun, come with us," Eric clings onto my arm.
"I don't like going out on Saturdays." I mumble.
"Please? Please~~~.." he begs me.
"You should come, Jihyun." Sunwoo gives me his puppy eyes that I can't resist.
"Fine.. I'll think about it."
