Bell rang for first period, Sunwoo and I headed off to the same class because well: he did pay the school to let him transfer into all of my classes. I still don't get why he did that, but I guess I do appreciate him for it.
We walked into the classroom and sat down next to each other at a pair of desks in the middle row; I take out my materials for this class and wait for the teacher to arrive. The teacher for first period is usually always five minutes late, so it was nothing surprising.
"I'm so tired, Jihyun..." Sunwoo rests his head on the desk in front of my view.
"I told you guys to sleep early, you dumb asses just wouldn't listen. It's not my fault." I sigh.
"It would've been better if you could sleep over with us! I would've slept way faster and easier." He pouts.
"I have my own home to sleep in, Sunwoo. Don't be ridiculous." I chuckle lowly.
"Yeah, but you can always come over and sleep with us!"
"I have a little brother to take care of. He came home to stay with me, Sunwoo. I can't just leave him." I sigh again.
"Taehyun's lucky to have a big sister like you. You care for him a lot." Sunwoo looks up at me and smiles.
"Shut up, I just do the best I can. He's all I have left." I frown a little.
"What about your mom?" He whispers.
"She's barely home anymore, I see her once every two months nowadays." I respond.
"I'm sorry.... but I'm here for you, Jihyun." He puts his hand on my thigh and squeezes it a little.
"Thanks, Sunwoo." I smile at him.
The teacher walks into class and we immediately begin our classwork, just as usual; every now and then Sunwoo would poke my thigh playfully or stare at me with a smile on his face, which distracted me a lot from my work.
Second period came by quickly; time goes by quickly when Sunwoo's by my side, as cheesy as it sounds.
We were in class working on decorating the project; again, I worked on it a lot over the break so all we had to do was find a way to make it look nice and polished. We still had a lot of time left; three months exactly, so we were planning out designs for it.
"I can't believe you worked on it so much over the break! It's looking really good and we haven't even decorated it yet." Sunwoo claps his hands like a seal happily.
"Yeah. That means once we finish everything, we won't have to do work for this class for another three months." I shrug, smiling proudly.
"By the way...." Sunwoo speaks up. "What did Younghoon talk to you about yesterday?"
"He only asked me for advice about a girl."
"Who?" He furrows his eyebrows.
"I'm actually not sure. I didn't ask who it was because it would seem nosy of me." I say.
"You do know he likes you, right?" Sunwoo deadpans.
"What? I mean, I had a small hunch, but I didn't want to believe it-"
"That hyung likes you. Like I said before, all of the guys like you; some just are too afraid to get closer to you, and some are too shy to show their feelings." Sunwoo sighs.
"You're exaggerating, Sunwoo." I snicker.
"I'm not, at all. Literally all of them like you. ALL of them."
"And how do you know that?"
"I've been friends with every single one of them for years. I know how they act when they like someone. I mean, besides Hyunjoon.. he hates your guts." Sunwoo mutters the last sentence. "I didn't want to expose them like this, but it's just so frustrating to watch. All of them are in love with you."
"That is disturbing...." I sigh deeply. "That's truly unfortunate. Just truly disturbing."
"Why? Stop being dramatic, Jihyun!"
"No, I'm not, it's just... I hate the idea of that. They're seriously wasting their feelings on me." I rub my temples.
"Why is that? Do you already have someone in mind?" He raises an eyebrow at me.
"I don't know, do I?" I glare at him.
"Holy smokes, is it... is it Younghoon?!"
It's you, idiot.
"No, it's not him. It's none of them." I try hinting.
"So it's someone we don't know.. I wonder who it is."
"Oh my god..." I sigh.
"I'm kidding. I know it's me." Sunwoo smiles.
"Thank gosh, I was about to smack you with the whole desk."
"You're too weak to do that, Jihyun."
"How do you know that?"
"Because you're a girl."
"That's sexist, Sunwoo." I glare at him.
"I didn't mean it like that!"
"What other way would you mean it?"
"I meant, like... like... well-"
"I'm disappointed in you. How sexist." I shake my head in shame.
"No, don't be disappointed! Jihyun, I didn't mean it like that!" Sunwoo whines.
"I can't believe it.." I tease.
"Jihyun, stop!!" He pouts his lips. "I know you're a tsundere, but it would be nice if you can show me SOME love. Just a little."
"I'm not a tsundere." I glare at him again.
"You totally are a tsundere. A total tsundere. You are the definition of a tsundere. You're seriously a tsundere."
"How many times are you going to say that word?"
"A lot. Just to emphasize that you are, in fact, a tsundere. Kang Jihyun the tsundere."
"Sunwoo..."
"Everyone knows you're a tsundere, don't be embarrassed. All of us know already. If you search up the word tsundere in a dictionary, your face will be plastered all over it. You're totally a tsundere, such a tsundere."
"If I'm a tsundere, you're a yandere."
"Hey- I'm not!!"
