next morning
I stand in front of the school building, blankly staring at it. Sunwoo notices the panic in my eyes and grabs my hand, holding it tight.
"We can go home if you can't do this, Jihyun." He whispers to me.
"I can't miss more days of school." I gulp.
I give his hand a tight squeeze, then let go of it. I take a deep breath and follow him inside the building, sticking by him. He looks back at me every five seconds to make sure I was still with him, just in case.
We stopped at our lockers and I gulp again, my heart beating abnormally fast. I bit my lip and open my locker, taking everything that I needed. He turns me around to face him, putting both hands on my shoulders. He looks at me with sincerity and gives me an assuring smile.
"Don't worry, I'll be here with you for every class. I paid the principal. He quickly accepted the money. I'm in all of your classes." He smiles.
"You really are a yandere.." I breathe out.
"Not true." He pouts his lips. "I just want to make sure you're by my side every second."
"You're treating me like a baby." I frown.
"I'm just worried about you, Jihyun," he sighs.
"It would be torture, knowing I'm not there with you every second and the same thing could happen again." Sunwoo whispers.
"I can take care of myself!" I glare at him.
"No, you can't. Not if it's a guy, you can't take care of yourself in that situation and you know it." He shakes his head no.
"I feel that you're being a little too much." I frown.
"No, Jihyun. I'm always worried to death for you. I promised you I'd keep you safe at all times."
"I hope you can understand." He says.
"Yo, yo, yo, it's the lovebirds~"
We turn our heads and see the 10 others. They stand in front of us, smirking weirdly.
"Why do you guys look like that?" I stare at them.
"Lovebirds~" Hyunjae coos.
"No." Eric pulls me away from Sunwoo.
"Here we go again, the yanderes.." Juyeon sighs.
Suddenly I see the same guy who touched me yesterday walking up to me. I gulp, trying to avoid looking at him. He stops in front of me, smirking.
"Aren't you lucky your little savior came and rescued you? I know you liked it," he smirked even creepier.
"You fucking bastard-" Sunwoo punches the guy, making him drop down on the floor.
Everyone in the hallway stopped and stared over at us. The other boys were shocked, and Eric held back Sunwoo.
"Jihyun, get behind me," Juyeon frowns.
I gulp, standing behind Juyeon in fear. The guy stands up, gliding straight at Sunwoo.
"You think you're so cool because you saved your girlfriend, huh? Unfortunately she liked it!" He laughs crazily.
"I'll fucking kill you!" Sunwoo shouts.
"Sunwoo, stop right now." Sangyeon scolds him.
"Liked what? What happened?" Hyunjae looks at me, confused.
"I had my hands-"
Sunwoo gets out of Eric's grip and punches the dude again, getting on top of him and just going at it. I tear up, panicking while frozen in place because I didn't know what to do.
Before the guy can get any bloodier, Mr. Kim came out and yelled.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! Get off of him, Sunwoo!!"
Mr. Kim pulls Sunwoo off of him, blocking him from the guy. Sunwoo's panting hard, his face bright red from being so angry. His gaze... it was horrifying. It looked like he really did want to kill the guy.
"All of you guys, into my classroom now." The teacher points to the whole group.
Sunwoo doesn't listen, and just glares at the guy. I gulp and hold his arm, dragging him into the classroom with the other guys.
Mr. Kim closes his classroom door once all of us were inside, and he stands in front of us with a glare.
"What happened?" He asks us.
"That guy just walked up to us and started saying nonsense. It made Sunwoo mad for some reason, and that's when he started punching him." Haknyeon responded.
"Even if he says stuff you don't like, Sunwoo, you can't be beating people up brutally like that." Mr. Kim looks at the furious Sunwoo.
"He was disrespecting Jihyun!" Sunwoo yelled.
"I know you feel the need to defend your girlfriend, but-"
"HE FUCKING TOUCHED HER!" Sunwoo shouted loudly, leaving them in shock.
I gulp, looking at the ground to avoid eye contact. I feel angry at Sunwoo, because he told everyone my business. He knew it was personal for me and still shouted it out anyway.
"HE FUCKING TOUCHED HER, AND HE HAD THE NERVE TO COME BACK TODAY!"
"That's enough, Sunwoo.." Juyeon mumbles.
"What do you mean he touched her?" Mr. Kim asks.
"He touched her without her permission. He bruised up her wrists and almost touched her body!" Sunwoo says, infuriated.
"What?! He TOUCHED HER?! I'm killing him!" Eric starts shouting too.
"What a bastard.." Hyunjae sighs.
"I can't believe he had the courage to talk shit even after Sunwoo beat him up the first time" Kevin breathes out deeply.
"This sadly isn't the first time he's touched a girl before. He's done it multiple times." Mr. Kim sighs deeply.
"Then why isn't he expelled?!" I burst out.
"He's out here assaulting girls and the school isn't even doing anything about it! He shouldn't be going here anymore!" I argue.
"The school is shit. They don't do anything." Jacob says.
"Such crap.." Chanhee groans.
"You all should go home before something happens again. He's still in the hallways. You guys need to go home." Mr. Kim instructs us.
"What about class? I need to work on assignments, what if the teachers see us all leaving together?" Changmin frowns.
"They don't care." Mr. Kim chuckles.
"Stay our of trouble. Sunwoo, treat your hands."
We all left the school building, parting our ways to go home. Sunwoo decided to stay with me, and I didn't want to speak up to him so I stayed quiet and agreed. Eric wanted to come with us really badly as well, but he couldn't.
