"Mom! What should I wear for my dance tonight?" My 11 year old daughter said.
"How about this?" I said pulling out a cute dress with nice high heels.
"Umm... Yes!...." She said pointing at the dress. "But no." She said pointing at the high heels.
"Why?" I said.
"Because mom, I don't believe in high heels. I gotta type, Jor-dans is the only thing that I like." She said singing the last part.
"Fine." I said. "Get dressed! Shane will be here in hours!" I said.
My name is Ashley and I'm 27 years old. I have an 11 year old daughter named Alyssa, and she has a boyfriend named Shane. My husband Kevin Love is over protective over her. I think it's cute but sometimes its gets out of hand.
Right now it's her 5th grade formal. And all the guys are down stairs waiting so they could take pictures and stuff.

I watched as Alyssa took out her braid to make her hair long and curly. I took a picture of her and posted it on Instagram.

I was on the verge of tears. She turned around.
"Mom, don't cry." She said to me pulling me into a hug.
"Wait until your father sees you." I say.
She smiles.
"C'mon lets go" I said pulling her hand.
We walked down the steps and once when the guys saw her they all gasped.
"My baby..." Kevin said putting his hands over his mouth.
Alyssa went up to kevin and hugged him. The guys took pictures of that.
After 15 minutes of taking pictures the door bell rung. It was her boyfriend Shane.
"Hello mrs. Love" he says
"Hello Shane, your looking very handsome tonight." I said. He was dressed in a black and white tuxedo.
He came in and Kevin started staring at him.
"Alyssa, you look....amazing" he says as she blushed.
"Listen here, I want her home at 9:30" Kevin said in a stern voice.
"Dad but the dance don't end till-"
"9:30." He says again.
"Kevin," I say. "Shane when the dance is over just bring her home safely okay?" I said.
"I will never let nobody touch her." He says.
"That's means keep your little fingers away from her" Kevin says.
"Shane lets go" Alyssa said and they left.
"I swear to god if something happens to her..."
"Kevin! Calm down! Nothing's gonna happen." I said.
"Yea ok." He says and we all started laughing.

"It's been 3 hours! Where are they?" Kevin said as me, Kevin, Kyrie(Irving) and Lebron(James) all sat down to watch a movie.
Minutes later Shane and Alyssa comes walking through the door.
"There you go!" Kevin said. He was the first one up.
"You can leave, bye bye!" He said.
"Kevin stop!" I said.
"Thanks Shane." I say giving him a hug.
Shane walked up to Alyssa grabbed her hand and looked in her eyes.
"I had fun tonight." He says.
"Me too." Alyssa says back.
He tried to kiss her.
"That's too much son." Kevin said.
"Well my mom is waiting for me. I'll call you when I get home to okay?"
"Ok" Alyssa said.
Shane left.
"You better have that phone on speaker." Kevin says.
"Ok, I'm gonna go upstairs to change." She said.
"Ok" we all said.

"This was the best picture we took." Alyssa said as she showed us the picture to us.
It had Alyssa and Shane palming a basketball and they both looking at each other. The basketball had the words "I'm his" and "I'm Hers". It was cute. Kevin didn't look to happy though.
"Who's ready for movies?" Lebron said.
We all agreed and we watched hunger games mocking bird.
Alyssa laid her head to Kevin's shoulder.
He looked down at her and smiled.

She's growing up. I can't help it but I have too.
"Excuse me for a second." I said as left the couch and went to the kitchen.
"What's wrong babe?" Ashley said as she wrapped her arms around my waist.
"She's growing up." I said. "I can't take the pressure." I said also.
"Well she can't stay young forever." Ashley said.
"I know but, I was hoping can we make another one?" I say
Her eyes widened.
"Really?" She said.
"Really." I said.
"Okay then. Let's try later." She said and she winked at me.
We went back into the room to see Alyssa, Kyrie and Lebron sleep.
"Look at them." I said.
" I know" she said taking out her picture. I did also. I posed it on Instagram.

I picked up Alyssa and put her in her room. I kissed her on her check.
"Goodnight daddy" she said still half asleep.
"Goodnight baby girl." I said back.
