"Kathy lets go were gonna be late!" Steph said as he yelled down to me.
"I'm coming butt head" I said running down the steps.
"Ayesha's gonna kill me" he said prancing around.
"Chill dude" I said as I grabbed my purse.
Me and my best Friend Stephen curry we're going to his girlfriend's birthday party.
Me and Steph been best friends since we was little. Ayesha knows but she doesn't mind. I also have a crush on Stephen little brother Seth.
Me and Steph walked to the car.
"So what did you get her?" I asked him.
"I got her this necklace." She said showing it to me.
I gasped at the diamond necklace. "Steph this is beautiful, she's gonna love this."
"I know, Seth told me she would" he said driving down the road.
"And what does Seth knows about that?" I asked.
"Because, he told me that all girls love shiny stuff." He said.
"No true, not all girls like shiny things. So Seth is wrong." I said.
Me and Steph pulled up to Ayesha's house and there was a lot of people there.
"Stephen! There you go." Ayesha said as she saw the car pull up.
"Happy birthday babe." Steph said kissing her.
"Hey ayesha." I said hugging her.
"I thought y'all will never make it." She said.
"Well, she wanted to be slow." Steph said.
I glared at him. "Shut up." I said.
"Where's my mom?" Steph said walking in the house.
"She's in the kitchen." Ayesha said. Stephen walked into the kitchen and I sat down on the couch.
Suddenly, Seth walks in the house with his father, Dell.
"Hey, Katherine." Mr. Dell said as he hugged me.
"Hey." I said "You need help?" I said as I grabbed the bags.
"Sure, since Seth is always LAZY!" He yelled the last part.
I laughed. "Just like Stephen." I said.
"I'm nothing like Stephen." Seth said.
"Yea ok." I said as I walked in the kitchen.
"Hey honey." Stephen mom, Sonya said.
"Hey miss Sonya." I said.
I helped put the food away and the guys went outside.
"How have you been." She asked me.
"Good" I asked.
"That's great" I said.
I washed my hands do I can get ready to cook.
"Did you find someone special?."
I looked at her and smiled.
"Well, there's this guy. He's really smart, sweet. I've known him for years. He's really lazy." I said.
"Well... What's his name?" She said.
"Mrs. Sonya I have a crush on Seth. I've had one for years but I'd never told him."
"Awe, sweetheart, I think Yall would make a cute couple." She said.
"So...your okay with this?
"Yea, I'm perfectly fine with it. Your a good kid. I've know you since you were able to walk. I've always seen you and Stephen together." She said.
"Wow." I said.
"Yea, you should tell him how you feel." She said.
"Ok" I said.
Minutes later Seth walks in the kitchen from the back door.

"Yes, Seth what do you need?" My mom said.
"I need to talk to Katherine real quick." I said.
My mom smiled. "Ok, take your time."
My mom left the room.
"Soo.." She said. "How come you couldn't tell me?" I said.
"Tell you what?" She said.
"Kathy don't play dumb, I heard every word you said to my mom."
"You did?" She asked.
"Yes. I did." I said.
"Seth, I'm sorry for not telling you. I was just scared that you wasn't gonna-"
I smashed my lips on hers to cut her off.
Suddenly Stephen and Ayesha both walk in the kitchen.
"Damn bro can she breath." He said and I stopped kissing her.
"Why did you ruin the moment." Ayesha said.
"So when did you guys start going out?" Steph said.
"About....35 seconds ago." Kathy said.
"And to be honest, I've had a crush on you too. But I thought you always liked Steph." I confessed.
"So I guess we was mad for each other." She said.
"I guess." I said.
"But one thing you need to know.... All girls do not like shiny things." She said.
"See I told you Steph!" I cried.
"But she loved it." Steph said.
"Wait I'm confused." Kathy said.
"That Diamond necklace I showed you in the car was yours from Seth." Steph said.
"But-I...Ayesha?
"I got a ring" she said as she showed it to her.
It wasn't just any normal ring. It was a wedding ring.
"Bro you proposers to her?" I said.
"Yea, right outside." He said.
I took the necklace out of the case and put it on her neck.
"It's beautiful like always." She said.
I smile and I kiss her again.
