CHAPTER 21 : Engaging The Enemy Part 3

Now with the Sage Jutsu Chakra gathered, Minato, Orochimaru and Jiraiya stood with the others on the front lines.

Jiraiya : I'm sorry to call on you two like this, so suddenly, but we need your help - the two great sage toads of Mount Myuboku.

PA : ah, Jiraiya boy. It's so good to see you.

Jiraiya : aren't you two surprised to see me at all?

MA : Earlier you used a tracker toad, remember (referenced it from chapter 8). When that toad got back home, he informed us all about the bizzare chain of events taking place in the human world. Ever since then PA and I have been looking forward to meeting you.

Jiraiya : I'm extremely pleased Honored Sage's. However now's not the time to reminiscence. We have a battle to fight.

PA : it's been a while since I lost fought. Hope I'm not too rusty.

MA : alright let's go.

Kakashi (adult) : Again let me remind you all that our oppenent is both stronger and faster than us. Therefore, in order to counter his superior strength and speed, we will overwhelm him with our sheer number.

With those words everyone jumped into action, except for Jiraiya. Jiraiya stayed back amassing Chakra.

Orochimaru summoned his Kusanagi sword and imbued it with the Sage Jutsu Chakra that he had gathered, while Minato made his senses sharp thanks to Sage Art.

Kakashi, Sai, Karin, Orochimaru and Minato began attacking Kenji as one, and started pushing Kenji off via some extremely well synchronised Taijutsu attacks.

Kenji getting pushed back, once again slammed the ground down with his bare hands and launched a sound wave based attack that shook the very ground they were standing on. Kakashi and the others jumped away from the scene to safety. Taking advantage of this opportunity of not having anyone close to Kenji, Jiraiya launched a Massive Fire Style Jutsu enhanced with the special Oil from Mount Myuboku. However these weren't any normal flames as Jiraiya added one additional ingredient to the mixture. That's right, he imbued this attack with Sage Chakra.

As massive flames engulfed Kenji everyone stood in the sidelines watching the impact and were quite amazed the sheer scale of Jiraiya's jutsu. As the smoke cleared, Kenji came out with a few burn marks here and there, however he quickly regenerated the damage.

Jiraiya : Alright, it's just like Kakashi said, Sage Chakra indeed works against this guy. We just need to keep going.

Minato : right.

However their excitement was cut short as the building they were in started collapsing thanks to all the fighting. Everyone moved out of the building in haste with Kakashi, Minato and Sai carrying Naruto, Gaara and Killer Bee respectively, while as Obito kid and Kakashi kid carried the unconscious twins out of the building.

Kakashi (adult) : that was close.

As the building collapsed, Kankuro who was waiting outside and acting as a lookout became anxious and hurried over to the battlefront with Tenya still captured inside the puppet and Omoi knocked out, who was resting on kankuro's shoulders.
Kankuro hurried over to Rin and dropped Omoi their with her and instructed her to heal him. Then he immediately went over to Gaara's side. Gaara had regained conscious and was talking to his brother, so in that moment kankuro felt a huge load been lifted from his chest.

Kakashi (adult) quickly accessed the situation and instructed kankuro to take Gaara and Killer Bee away from the front lines as they still weren't completely healed.

Kankuro nodded his head and carried his brother and killer bee away over to Rin's side. Later he joined kid Kakashi and Obito, to keep an eye on the unconscious twins and Tenya (who by the way, was still trapped inside the puppet).
