THE FUTURE OF THE LEAF

CHAPTER 24 : The Final Act

Hagoromo : well that takes care of that. Now to handle the other issue at hand.

Hagoromo walks upto Kenji and the others, "listen here, Kenji. I must say that what you and your friends tried to do was a serious threat to humanity, but thankfully it was stopped before anything could go wrong".

Kenji and the others just stayed silent, so Hagoromo continued, "the thing is, even with the Ten-Tails been extracted from you, you'll still continue to live thanks to the enormous life force inside of the Ten-Tails husk, so you don't have to worry about dying anytime soon. What I want you to do is realise your errors and grow into a better man, because I somewhat understand you. You nearly made the same mistake my mother did, all those years ago. However unlike her, you have a second chance at life. Use it well. I hope you won't fall down the path of evil ever again".

After that Hagoromo looks upto Tenya, Akio and Akihiko and comments, "Kenji, you have some good friends and siblings. Cherish them and look after each other. Hope this incident will be a learning experience for you all and you'll each learn valuable leasons from it".

With those words Hagoromo turned towards our heroes and bid them farewell before disappearing into nothingness.

Naruto : well that settles everything, I guess.

Kakashi : No, there's still something we don't know. We don't know what drove our enemies to pull a stunt like that. I would like to know their backstory.

Sai : yeah. I must say, I'm kinda intrigued too. The Sage seemed to already know about them, but we don't. Let's ask them.

Orochimaru clears his throat, "ahm... Well I for one, am not interested in something as trivial as that. Come on Karin, we are leaving".
With those words Orochimaru and Karin left the scene and returned back to their layer.

Kakashi (adult) walks upto Kenji's group, bends down on his knees, so that he and Kenji would be on the same level and enquires about their backstory.
Akio and Akihiko easily complied with the request and told them everything about their father, mother and about the sickening ways their village treated Kenji, Akio and Akihiko after the failed mission of their father.

Kakashi : I see. That must have been hard, right, Naruto?

Naruto : yeah, I can relate to that. I personally understand the pain of been left alone and looked up with hate and contempt.

Gaara : yeah, I understand the severity of the issue too. After all, Naruto and I, did had somewhat similar childhood experiences.

Naruto : you don't say...

After that, Kakashi walks upto Gaara and kankuro and apologises to them while bowing down in respect, "seems all this started because of the mistakes on the cloud's and the leaf's part. The Hidden Sand got dragged into it for no reason. For that, I'd like to apologise to the Kazekage and to his attendant (Kankuro). Hope you guys can find it in your heart to forgive us for our negligence in the past".

Gaara : please raise your head, Lord 6th. We don't mind it at all. In the past, we have done a lot of terrible things too. I understand the situation perfectly. It wasn't just your fault, but the combined effect of the entire worlds worth of failures. As the kazekage, its my duty to help those in need and to maintain the world peace. If Kenji and the others felt that the world needed some sort of revolution, then that just reflects that we, Kage's haven't been doing our job's correctly. It seems there's still a lot we, as the leaders of our land have to work upon, to ensure world peace and to save people from going down the wrong path, which might could lead to another Kenji in the future. We must make sure that never happens ever again.
