opening night part one

Lena's: POV
Tonight was my baby's opening night
For her new restaurant. I'm so proud of all her accomplishments, she's finally doing something she loves doing. Where all on our way to the restaurant, to my support my amazing wife on her opening night
Stef left a few hours earlier to get everything set up. My mother and my mother in law along with Stef's brother and niece are all here at the house, were already in the car

Take the spot light off on Stef's special night, it made no sense in taking both vehicles. So everyone rode with me
in my new suburban, which had enough room for everybody.
I made a quick stop by the florist
to get Stef some roses, Micheal offer
to drive my car. I told him no thank you, l barely let anyone drive my car
We pulled up to the store and l parked the car and went inside mother came in with me, l looked around for the perfect bouquet of flowers. I picked out some fresh pink long stem roses
I know mother came into the store to be nosey, this baby wouldn't stop kicking for nothing, a few days ago we found out the sex of the baby
Now we can start decorating the nursery. I went up to the front to pay for merchandise, the total came up to
76.00 dollars. I handed the cashier four twenties, l'm just waiting on my change. My mom stood behind me in line, l was giving by change.
By the sales clerk, I moved aside
So Dana my mom could pay for the flowers she picked out.

Stef's: POV
I was getting everything ready
My grand opening. I made sure the bar was stock with plenty of alcoholic beverages, l went into the kitchen
to see how everything was coming along with the food. We had another hour before the doors open up,
I had to leave the house a couple of hours early to get things taken care of
I was able to see my mother, brother niece and mother in law when they came to the house. Where my wife made a toast in my honor, we drank a glass of sparkling cider because Lena wasn't allowed to drink alcohol.
Dana made a comment that managed
to offend to Lena, after my wife paid for my mother to go on a cruise with my mom. Luckily Lena didn't respond
Dana and Lena rarely got along with each other, Dana was always criticizing Lena over something petty

I went over to the window and saw
A bunch patrons all line up. There were some many people out there
I hope Lena gets here without any problems, my security team standing out front in case things get out of control. My phone buzzed, l took it out of my pocket and saw a text from my wife saying she just pulled up
in the parking lot in the back, cause
They weren't any park spaces out front. I knew we were going to run into an issue with parking, l had the bouncer  Maurice go and get my family, l told him to use the side door
