Lena and I are out at Toys r us shopping for baby Kennedy. This place is like one big amusement park, Where in the baby department. Lena has picked out several outfits for Kennedy.
Lena doesn't like to rush she takes her time in store, even when we go to the supermarket. I know it's killing her not being able to work, it's kinda nice having Lena home when I get in from the restaurant, babe I think where gonna need another buggy. Lena snaps me out of my train of thought
Yeah sure stay right here and l'll go get one, Stef says to Lena. Stef goes up to the front to get a shopping cart
She feels her phone vibrating in her pocket, Stef takes it and sees she has a message from her friend telling her
That just finished up decorated Kennedy,
room. Stef responds back by saying
Thank you, and presses the send button and pushes the cart back where Lena's at. My wife always goes by a list, whenever we shop
Lena knows not to get any furniture
Cause I brought it already. What took you so long coming back, Lena asks me. I had to take a call Stef said
Did you think we need to get a bassinet that we can keep her in our bedroom until she gets around five months then transfer her to the nursery, Lena questions me
That makes more sense. I put the bassinet at the bottom of the cart
Now what about a baby swing, car seat for when Kennedy comes home from the hospital, and stroller
Baby tub Lena reads off the list
How bout we split up and l'll go get the big stuff and you work on the clothes and things Stef asks.
I thought we were supposed to be doing this as a team Lena tells Stef
We are baby. I just don't want you lifting any heavy boxes Stef spoke with concern in her voice, ok meet me back here in twenty minutes Lena replies. Stef heads down the furniture aisle Lena has decided not to have a baby shower, she has signed up for a few baby registries so people can send gifts for Kennedy. I'm looking at all these safety seats for babies, I'm having a hard time deciding on the best one to get, then one catches my eye. You know l have a hard deciding
It's a three in one. It goes from new born to toddler and can transform into a carrier, we didn't set on a budget. Lena and I have plenty of money that will last us for life

Towels, wash cloths, receiving blankets, bibs and so on. We probably head over to Walmart for some more things, Lena doesn't like to shop at just one store. She likes a variety of places, we head up the front
It seems like we're the only ones in here. Lena begins to unload the cart
The starts scanning the items
Then a red alarms goes off,

She says. We stand here in a state of shock, an older gentleman walks up towards the front carrying a white envelope and folder in his hand
He pulls the forms out and gives them to me. I get out my eye glasses
And read everything, carefully
It's in black and white. I filled out the forms for Lena and I, then give it back to kirk and he gives me the envelope
I open it has the Toys r us visa gift cards inside. Let me get this straight
All the things we have in our cart is ours to keep for free and we don't have to pay for any of it Stef asked once more to be sure. Yes it's true
So even if you wanted to go back and get more you wouldn't have to pay
Cause it will be part of your shopping spree. The best part about this whole experience is, we haven't set a limit
