Today's the day

Stef's: POV
Last night I decided to stay at the hospital with Lena and Kennedy
After what Lena told me about what happened between her and that nurse her. Lena doesn't usually snap at people for no apparently reason
It didn't sit right with me. The staff didn't have a problem with me spending the night, one of the older nurse brought me some blankets and pillows. I packed a set of changing clothes just in case along with my personal hygiene products, while Kennedy was sleeping in the baby cot
Lena was able to go get cleaned up
I know she was concerned about that woman coming back in here.
And try to take Kennedy in the middle of the night, that wasn't gonna happen on my watch. Even if I stayed up all night, while Lena slept
They had a pull out sofa bed
Which wasn't to bad even though
Kennedy woke up about two times throughout the night usually she was hungry or she needed her pamper change. When Lena sung her back to sleep, l never knew Lena had a beautiful singing voice, Kennedy felt asleep instantly. I look over at the time, it was 8:45 in the morning
I looked in the baby cot and see Kennedy wide awake and dressed her
in a new outfit Lena must put on her
Kennedy's in a pair of jeans and a shirt. She has a full head of curly hair like Lena's, Lena must be in the bathroom getting ready. Kennedy begins to cry, when she notices
Lena's not around. I scooped her up out the bassinet, and cradle Kennedy up in my arms. And hold her close and Kennedy slowly calms down
Where standing over by the window
When the same nurse comes walking through the door, the one l'm beginning not to like. Because what she did to Lena, we spoke to her supervisor late last night when she brought me some towels and wash cloths. I guess she looks surprise
When she sees me instead of Lena
is there anything I can help you with
I asked her, she batts her eye lashes at me trying to play innocent. Do you know where Lena Adams Foster is
She asks me, in a nasty tone
She's not here at the moment
is there something I can assist you with. Stef says, l have her discharge paperwork here. And prescriptions for pain, can you let her know that she needs to call her doctor to schedule her post opt appointment
She replied, l will make sure she gets in touch with her gynecologist Stef
And I will see that she signs these papers. Stef States, l didn't catch your name the nurse asks me. Stef Adams Foster. Her eyes go wide she finally makes the connection that Lena and I are married, l dare her to say something smart so I can knock her fucking head off. Nobody messes with my wife and daughter, she turns back around and leaves the room.
