A night out on the town

Stef's: POV
Me and Lena both had our showers. And took a long nap
After a few hours, we woke up
Got dress and went a place called Riviera 31.  We were told it's a jazz spot that serves food,
Lena said that sounded interesting, and tomorrow where going to Lagoon beach for the day. I'm glad we decided to take this trip, we arrived at our destination. We both exit the car
And walked into the building
This looks so homey, there was no waiter to seat us. So we found
a table in the middle aisle,
Then a guy came over to our table and gave us menus to look at. Lena takes in everything around her, cause this is a different type of atmosphere
We usually don't go much
The serve came to take our drink
Orders. Lena couldn't drink any alcohol, she order a virgin pina colada. And I got a mango margarita with a shot vodka

She's probably going to get something lite. When the server came over and took there orders
Lena the salmon dinner that came with a salad and vegetable
I got the shrimp basket with coleslaw and fries. Lena ask for a glass of ice water, Lena sipped on
Pina colada. The band got up on stage and started playing music
They have open mic mikes on Saturday evenings. And on Sunday's they serve bunch,
We might have to come back again. Our food was brought over, to our table. The service was fast. We dug into our dinner
Lena couldn't even eat all her food. Her plate was full, she only ate, one piece of her Salmon and a little bit of her salad. When our waiter came over to check on us
And ask if we needed anything else. Lena ask for a to go box
He left the bill on the table,
The total for our whole meal including the drinks was 57.80
I left a twenty dollar tip on the table. Lena yawn, which meant that she was getting sleepy, the waiter came back over to take the bill, we got up out of our seats. And exited the restaurant
We walked through the parking lot, towards my car. I unlock the
Door, so that Lena could get in
I turned on the engine.
We buckled our seat belts, and drove out of the parking lot
We were headed back to the hotel. Lena just reminded me where supposed to be started the birthing classes next Wednesday
It totally slipped my mind.
We talk about getting a puppy
Nothing too big. Lena said she wanted a shitzu dog, she want a boy one. She rather have a girl instead, where going to wait a few months. Before we get one

We went to this place called the Rivera 31. Jazz spot that served food, and drinks. When we arrived. There was no one to seat us. So we found a table in the middle section of the room,
I had to look around us
Cause we weren't use to type of crowds. With Us being Lesbians
I didn't want to draw any attention, l felt a little uncomfortable. Cause certain places prohibit same sex couples
Stef kept trying to tell me to relax
It was hard. I sense people were staring at us, l guess it was all in my head. I had a bad experience
Year's ago, where me and my friends. We out to a club and was treated badly, due to our sexuality. Cause my friend wouldn't dance with one of the guys, that was the worst experience of my life.
I never told Stef about it
When enter in the restaurant
I instantly had flashbacks of what happened. I didn't think it would bother me this much,
That's why I kept looking around me. This is why I don't go to clubs
Anymore, she told the guy that she was gay. He called us all obscure, names. How could somebody be so cruel to say such
Hurtful things. We were minding our own business, it wasn't like we were looking for trouble
It was her birthday and we were celebrating. She may have forgotten all about it but l didn't

But I don't trust nobody these days. I couldn't even enjoy my meal, Stef managed to eat all hers
I just wanted to go back to the hotel. And watch a movie with Stef, when we got back. We pulled up to the hotel parking lot
Exit the car. And headed inside
We walked past the lobby, down the hallway, and waited for the elevator doors to open up.
It was starting to take to long
Finally the doors of the elevator
Opened up. I mashed the button to our floor, dang the elevator

We walk down the hall,

Wallet. She stuck it in the door
I turned the knob, we both enter our suite. I kick off my sandals
I went into our bedroom and put something comfortable on,
I wore a nice sundress this evening. Stef was wearing dress
Pants, and a nice shirt. That showed her cleavage, l tried not to stare. to hard. She knows l was watching her, l decided to wear a pair of shorts. And a tank top to bed, l was in the bathroom taking off my makeup. Even though, Stef says l don't need it
