It's been a few weeks since Kennedy's little birthday party. We were outside
Kennedy was happily playing in her playpen, l started watering my garden
Out of nowhere Kennedy says her first word. Momma, that was music to my ears. I'm not sure Stef caught on what Kennedy just said, baby l said to Stef. Do you just hear what Kennedy called me, sorry love l didn't she replies. Mommy Kennedy States out loud, l know Stef hears it now. Kennedy rushes over to Kennedy and picks her up out of the pack and play
Baby what did you say, Stef asks Kennedy. Our daughter looks at my wife and she says it again, Stef had tears coming out of her eyes. Stef hugged and kissed Kennedys face
She giggles in Stef's neck. Kennedy's has an infectious laughter, I love how Stef bonds with Kennedy. Babe l'm gonna go put Kennedy down for her nap. She said to me, okay honey
Lena tells Stef. I give Kennedy a kiss on the cheek, and l watch Stef take her in the house. I continue working on the garden, l decided a few weeks ago to tutor some children at the local library in town. While Stef stays with Kennedy, it's only three days a week
Even though l'm not in the actual classroom, but being home with our daughter and watching her growing up. Melts my heart, maybe when she's older l'll go back to work
I just don't wanna miss out on Kennedy's milestones, l love our little family. l head in the house to go wash my hands and get started on lunch
I'm not sure what to make us to eat
Chicken salad sounds good, Stef comes back downstairs into the kitchen. And sees me preparing the food, baby did she go down alright
Lena asked. Yes as soon as her little head hit the pillow, Kennedy was down for the count. Stef Stated
