Arriving at a Laguna beach

Lena's: POV
Once we arrived at the beach it was a little crowded
Stef was looking for a spot where could sit at
It took us five minutes to find the perfect place
to sit at. Stef laid out the blanket on the sand
I sat the picnic basket on the side and took a seat
On the cover, Stef passed me the sun tan  lotion
I put some on my arms and legs. Stef asks me to put some on her back, l begin massaging her shoulders. She was able the rest by herself, l took out the magazine from my beach bag
And start flipping through the pages. Stef told me she was going for swim in the water,reached in the cooler for a bottle of cold water. I was a tad thirsty. It was extremely hot out today
I'm glad we decided to take this trip to Malibu, this was just we needed to get away from Miami a bit. With my job closing down
I went online putting in applications at other schools
The good thing that came out this whole mess
All the teachers got a two year severance package
For two years. I should have done my research a little more before accepting the position so fast, the pay was good
And the hours were great. After l started there
I was wrongfully misled after signing my contract, this time l would be more cautions and use better judgement, Stef's restaurant is due to open in a couple of weeks
I'm beginning to show. My baby bump is visible for people to see
I just turn five months last week, we haven't started on the nursery yet cause we don't know the sex of the baby
I'm hoping for a healthy baby. We choose a African American donor, we went the baby to have both our DNA's
Stef was tested. The doctor said the will inherit some of Stef's genes and mine, Stef wants two children since l'm an only child
My parents have. Stef has a younger brother, l look up from my book that l was currently reading. And see Stef getting out the water. And making her way over to me. I take a towel out the bag
For her to dry off, hey baby having fun l wink at her and say
The waters feels good you should come down and get your feet wet babe she says. I'll walk down in a few, as for swimming
I'm gonna pass and use the pool back at the suite Lena states
Stef takes the towel and dries off and sits down on the blanket
Stef reaches in the cooler. For a cold beverage to drink
Baby what would like to eat for dinner this evening, Stef asks me
A grill chicken cesser salad. Lena responds. Babe as long as l've known you, you either eat salad, Salomon, bake chicken
I have never seen you eat fast food or junk food
Stef said. When l was high school l ran track
My coach put us girls on strict diet which consists of fruits, vegetables, protein smoothies, salads and water.
I guess l use to it over the years, plus my mom always made healthy meals.Lena replies. What kinds of foods did you grow up Stephanie, we basically ate what we wanted Stef replied
Sharon never cooked for you and Micheal four course meals
Lena asks. Sometimes she did. Mom always was a good baking all sorts of things, she only makes big meals around the holidays
Stef tells Lena. I don't want you thinking l'm trying you what to eat
I just want you to eat smart Lena replied, l know love ever we gotten together you made sure l eat at least three meals a day
Stef said. Woah Lena states. What's wrong honey
I think the babies kicking, Lena takes Stef's hand and place it on her belly. Stef felt the baby's foot against her hand
That was amazing Stef replied, they spend another few hours at the beach. Lena made it down to the water and walk the beach
With Stef holding her hand, Stef folded up the blanket
While Lena packed everything up they brought with them
Stef unlocked the car doors.so Lena could get in
Stef put the stuff in trunk.Lena started up the car
Stef got inside the car buckle up her seat belt
And they drove out of the beach parking lot, and got on the high way back towards the hotel.
