Stef and Kennedy's day at the zoo

Stef's: POV
Kennedy and I are on our way to the zoo. While Lena is at the library tutoring, Kennedy's in the back seat
Talking baby talk. She can speak a few words, Lena's has been teaching
Different things. We're driving on the highway, this is actually the first time that me and Kennedy had the opportunity to do something fun
I'm always at the restaurant working
Lena spends a lot of time with Kennedy. She knows who I am
We pulled up into the parking lot
I'm crazy about this little girl
Parked my car and got out to get Kennedy's stroller from the trunk
Open it up. I took Kennedy out of the car seat, strapped her in the stroller
I begin pushing the carriage.
We walked up to booth, l paid the fare
Then we went inside. I begin looking at the directory to decide where to go first, l figured we could go see the monkey's first. See the monkey's baby
I say to Kennedy, she didn't look amused. Then we moved to the birds
That were in the case flying around
After that the baby panda bears
She started clapping her hands
Ah we found an animal she likes,
We saw the zebra's. Polar bears of course they were sleeping, Kennedy couldn't take her eyes off of them
We headed to the gift shop to get some souvenirs. Baby which one do you wanna get, Stef asks Kennedy
She points to the black and white panda bear, the monkey. By the time we were finished. Kennedy choose
Four medium size stuffed bears
We made our way up to the counter
to pay for the items, l place the animals up on the counter and the girl scanned the toys. I even got Kennedy a polar bear back pack
I spent a total of one hundred and twenty- two dollars. My daughter was worth it, l took my bag and left out the door. I look down at my watch
It was going on 1:00 in the afternoon
Which meant lunch time, we headed towards the exit. I think we're gonna go swing by the restaurant and grab a bite to eat, l unlock the doors
Got Kennedy in her safety seat
Buckle her up. I folded up her stroller
Put it back in the trunk, and got in the car. Fasten my seat belt, started the car up and drove out of the lot
