Stef's: POV
Lena and I are on our way to the restaurant to have dinner with her
Mother. We have had a pretty long day, l never fully realize how much
Shopping can tired a person out
Because when we get in from our outing. I made us a healthy lunch
Then we watched a movie together and Lena fell asleep, while she was napping l did a few things around the house. Like the laundry, sweep and mop the kitchen floors. Clean up all the bathrooms, vacuum the living room. Dust the tables, water the flowers, washed both vehicles
Rearrange the refrigerator by throwing out the old food. Take out the trash, and that was it. Dana said she would meet us at the restaurant
We pulled up to the Uno's. The Valet
Driver opened up my car door for me
I handed him my keys, and we went inside. I informed the hostess we had reservations, l let her know the name it's under. She looks it up in the computer, the young woman asked
If we wanted to dine outside l responded yes plus there's another person joining us soon. She grabs three menus and some sliverware
And took outside where they other tables, l pulled Lena's chair out for her and she sat down. This woman was staring at me which I found rude
I didn't bother to look back at her
I was to focus into my wife to care,
Finally she got the hint and left
Lena looked through her menu
I glaced at the wine selections
Baby did you find what you wanted to eat, Stef asks Lena no babe not yet
Lena replies. I hope l'm not to late
Traffic was a mess Dana States, we each greet her with a hug. The same woman showed her to our table, how long have you too been waiting Dana inquires, we just arrived here ten minutes ago Lena said. Anything new and exciting happened lately Dana questions. Well mom Stef and l are going to have a baby your having a granddaughter Lena said, oh sweetheart that's wonderful your father would have been so proud
If he were here Dana replies. I see Lena getting emotional, my hand is on Lena's thigh. Our waitress comes over to take our drink, l order a glass of white wine. Dana requested a Chardonnay, Lena ask for a lemon water. She leaves us alone, Stephanie
