We finally made it to Malibu
After several hours driving
I know Lena was exhausted
We both needed this time to unwind. The cafe is due to open in two more weeks, the school where Lena works at maybe closing it's doors. All due to the principal embezzled money from
The school and the parents,
There investigating everybody they think was involved in this
This happened before we got down here. Several teachers have resigned already. It breaks my heart, to see her give up something she loves doing.
Lena is a very passionate person
She would go above and beyond to help someone in need.
This trip is our time to relax
And have some fun. Lena can't get to stress out, cause it's not good for our baby. She's three months pregnant, Lena is starting to show a little bit
I could tell her small baby bump
We just pulled up to the hotel
Lena slept the whole ride here
I only had to stop twice for gas
And bathroom breaks.
I woke Lena up to let her
Where here. She opened her eyes
She's not quite awake, but she's up. We both exit the car
I got our luggage from the trunk
And take her hand, we walked inside the hotel. Lena went to use the restroom, while l checked in at the front desk. I gave the young man my name, he's looking up our reservation in the computer. He asks for my driver's license to make sure everything matches up in the system, his name is kent he says
Kent handed me to key cards to our room. Your on the fifth floor
Kent said, thank you l say to him
I see Lena coming in my direction. Baby l got us check in
Okay honey she States, we walk down the hallway toward the elevator. Lena mashed the button, now we wait.
The doors open we walk on
I pressed the number to our floor
We got the penthouse suite.

I'm pulling our luggage beside me. I don't want Lena carrying anything heavy, we head down to our suite. I stick the card in the door, and it opened up
Wow look at this it's amazing
I put our pull along suitcases by the front door. So we can check out, our suite. We have a view of the ocean, a big eat in kitchen
And a nice size living room with a flat-screen TV built into the wall. The bedroom has a king size bed, oh my God the bathroom is gorgeous
It has a marble floor
His and her sink.
The shower is to die for
Sliding glass doors, two showerheads. the other side is a huge, we may never leave this room. Only to go out and eat
Tub, enough for two people
There are TV's in every room
We unpack our bags and put our clothes away In the drawers

Stef decided we needed a little getaway. So we drove down to Malibu, just to relax and have some fun. She knew my job was getting to me, so we packed up the car and jump the highway
The whole ride was peaceful
I ended up falling asleep. Cause
I was exhausted from not sleeping well. I don't even remember us stopping,
I'm looking forward to laying on the beach. And see some of the attractions this place has to offer
I brought three new bathing suits
I was telling Stef we should get a vacation home in Malibu, we can afford it. This would be our special place if we needed to get

I don't know how long where staying in Malibu. With everything going on with the school, it's still under investigation. I don't know how
