Feeling the warmth of the sunshine through the window caressing my body caused my extremely tired eyes to flutter open.
My eyes almost felt like they were glued together, I bring my hand up to rub them. I catch the glimpse of flanneled fabric on my arms, realizing that this was Harry's flannel.
I can't remember much.
I stay laying down, moving my head from side to side.
I'm at my parents house, in my bed. The last thing I remember was being on the roof of Zayn's house with Harry.
I take a deep inhale through my nose, my throat burning a bit and my head sort of fussy. I slowly begin to sit up, exhaling as I bring myself to sit against the headboard of my bed.
I look around my room, my memory still pretty foggy until my eyes land on something that startled me at first. I saw a pair of sneaker covered feet on my bedroom floor, making my eyes widen when I realized who those sneakers belonged to.
I trace my eyes up the length of the jean covered legs attached to the feet, eventually seeing my husband asleep on the floor next to my bed. He had a pillow under his head while he slept with no blanket.
What is he doing here?
"Harry!" I say urgently through a whisper. If my parents find him in here then they'll be furious.
My head still hurts and my body feels kind of heavy, but I need Harry to leave before my parents come in here.
"Harry..." I say his name again, seeing how he was fast asleep with his hands on his stomach.
He won't budge.
In an act of desperation to wake him, I grab one of the throw pillows on my bed next to me and chuck it at his sleeping frame.
He wakes up with a small startle, taking a deep inhale through his nose as his eyes opened. He looks at the pillow, and then realizes where he is before looking up at me on my bed.
"You're awake." his brows raise and his voice speaks with what seemed like relief.
"What's going on? I don't remember anything." I say quietly as he sits up from his laying position.
"You passed out when we were walking home from the party, babe." he whispers gently.
"What?" I furrow my brows. "H-how did I end up here?"
"I called your mum. She picked us up and let me stay the night." he tells me.
My eyes widen slightly. "You and my mom spoke?"
"Mhm." he mumbles as he rubs his tired eyes. "It went rather well, actually...or at least I think it did."
That's good to hear.
"So she knows you're here then?" I tilt my head.
"Yeah, your dad doesn't...unless she told him." he remarks.
Oh god.
"W-what did you and my mom talk about?" I ask, knowing that all I've wanted for the past few days is for that relationship to be repaired.
He runs his hand through his hair. "Everything, I guess. I talked to her about my own mother...and I told her about how much I loved you. She was hesitant but eventually she told me that she forgives me. I think I'm closer to her than before."
