"It will end in fire and blood and chaos." -Trepidation, chapter 27
Harry Styles
Trepidation. A feeling of fear of what may happen.
Fear—it's a strange thing.
It's something that your mind creates. Fear isn't a physical thing that you can see or touch...but it's merely an idea.
When you feel threatened, your mind makes you scared. It's not really something you can control. The reality of your life becomes distorted, you become paranoid...and that's when fear kicks in.
And that lingering trepidation, well it's been hanging over my head for far too long now.

at the coffee shop now. stop worrying ;) love you.I look down at the text I had just received from her. She left just 15 minutes ago, driving away by herself in my car. It literally pained me to let her go by herself, but at least she made it there safely.
I know I'll be checking her location like a madman, though. I can't help it...I can't let anything happen to her.
"Dada..." I hear Daisy's little voice from her highchair. I glance up from my phone, seeing her big blue eyes staring at me.
I came into the kitchen to grab her some food and then got distracted by Lydia's text.
"What do you feel like, kid?" I say as I open up the fridge and glance inside for something to feed her.
She just babbles back to me.
"I don't know how to make that, unfortunately." I respond to her nonsense as if we were having an intellectual conversation.
There's one more little carton of strawberry yogurt. Lydia's gonna scold me when she gets home for feeding that to Daisy considering it's the last one and Lydia buys them for herself, but I'm low on options here.
"Mum's not home so she can't get mad at us." I murmur as I grab the blue carton and one of Daisy's plastic spoons.
I peel the aluminum lid off and bring the yogurt over to Daisy's highchair, placing the carton and the spoon on her tray.
She doesn't need me to feed her, she'll figure it out.
"Go crazy, kiddo." I laugh as she dives the spoon into the yogurt container.
My phone rings on the counter. I walk back to the kitchen as Daisy makes a mess of her snack.
When I look down at my phone's screen, I read 'No Caller ID', immediately making my stomach drop.
