Troye POV

I snuggled my face deep into the soft covers, wrapping myself in their warmth while I shielded my eyes from the sun beginning to peek in through the window and covered my skin from the cold air circulating around me. I breathed in the fresh scent of clean sheets and smiled to myself, reaching out to the space beside me where I reached around, longing to feel the soft skin and see the warm smile of Tyler in my semiconscious state. My fingers trailed along the sheets, carefully grazing across the silky texture, but where I expected to feel Tyler against my fingertips I felt only air. I kept creeping my fingers along the sheets, still stubbornly keeping my eyes closed, afraid of the blinding rays that would meet my light eyes the second I opened them.

As my fingers reached across the bed I felt a hard surface under my fingers. Immediately I became curious and I opened my eyes without a second thought, but regretted it as soon as the golden gleam filled the room and blinded my eyes. I blinked rapidly, attempting to adjust my eyes to the sharp change of light in the atmosphere around me, and as I did my vision became clear. When I looked beside me in the spot that the man I have grown used to waking up next to was supposed to be there was a tray of breakfast with a bright red rose sitting next to the neatly prepared platter of pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

I smiled to myself at the hopeless romantic I have grown fond of over the past few years, and as I pulled the tray onto my lap the scents finally reached my nose and my mouth practically watered at the delicious aroma of the food mixed with how flawless it looked.

I began eating and as I did I noticed a small note beside the plate of food. I put the fork down almost instantly and grabbed the small piece of paper off of the tray, and as I read the note written in Tyler's iconic childish penmanship with the ink from my favorite purple pen I smiled to myself. I found myself reading it in his voice, and it felt like he was sitting right beside me reading it to me himself.

Even though waffles are clearly superior, I know you love pancakes and I love you so here's a cute little breakfast. Go check the closet because I have an amazing day planned for you. Xx Tilly.

I rolled my eyes at how cliché and romantic he was, but there was no fighting the smile on my face that was making my cheeks ache from the amount of sheer joy behind the simple gesture. Suddenly I didn't find myself with much of an appetite, and instead I just wanted to see what the amazing day he had planned actually was.

I practically jumped off the bed and ran across the cold floors, narrowly avoiding slipping on the clean polished wood until I reached the closet on the opposite side of the room. The same smile was still plastered on my face, and even though my cheeks were burning I still couldn't seem to force myself to stop. I pulled open the doors, probably a little too enthusiastically, but I couldn't help it.

As the doors opened I almost expected Tyler to jump out and scare me with his camera in hand, but instead of seeing his perfect lilac quiff I saw an outfit hanging neatly on some hangers. I pulled the outfit out and as I looked at it I saw my favorite pair of blue skinny jeans and a soft black jumper with a note sticking out of the pocket.

Put this on, it makes your butt look cute and when I saw this shirt I thought of you so you're welcome.

I didn't think it was possible for my smile to get any wider, but as I read the note I was proven wrong when I smiled so hard I thought my lips were going to fall off. I stood there for a few moments, just letting the butterflies go crazy in my stomach while my heart was beating the melody of its own love song against my chest.

After I finally composed myself from my lovesick trance I pulled the plain white t-shirt I had slept in off of my body and replaced it with the comfortable, oversized jumper that had just become my new favorite shirt. I then pulled the jeans over my thin legs and grabbed a pair of black platform shoes before I walked over to the mirror to make sure my outfit was flawless.
