"Wooah!" Rose exclaimed as she and Loki stepped out of the cab. Loki took the bag from her as she twirled around, smiling widely. "Isn't it beautiful, Loki?" She asked, grabbing his arm.
Loki looked around and hummed. "Not bad."
A single storey wooden house with a beautiful front garden and a swing. Trees and shrubs around, calm solitude and clear, pollution free environment.
"Yep." Loki nodded again. "Not bad at all." He turned to say something to Rose but she has already rushed towards the swing and tried to sit on it, balancing herself. But she slipped and fell down on her butt.
Loki sighed, shaking his head and pulled her up. "Are you hurt?" He asked, brushing the dust from her jeans. "No... I'm okay." Rose mumbled, embarrassed.
"Now, you wanna trip and fall again or explore the house?" He asked, extending his hand. Rose grabbed his hand with a grin. "Explore the house."
"Good choice." He smiled and pulled her along with him.
Loki unlocked the door and they stepped in. Rose left his hand and dashed inside, squeaking and blabbering about how nice the rooms are. She opened the door of the fridge and called out to Loki with a laugh.
"Lots of food we have Lemon! And even ice creams!" She giggled excitedly, taking out a tub of ice cream but Loki took it from her and placed it back in the fridge.
"Wash your hands and face, Pud. Get refreshed before stuffing." He said, closing the fridge. Rose huffed, before stomping away. "Fine!"
Loki followed her and as she disappeared into the bathroom, he neatly arranged everything in the rooms using his magic. He was about to enter his own bathroom when Rose shrieked loudly his name.
He dashed inside the bathroom without a second thought and saw Rose huddled in a corner, eyes tightly closed and trembling. "Rose? What is it?" Loki asked worriedly.
"Spider! Spider!" Rose shrieked again, pointing to the wall opposite of the opposite side and indeed there was a big spider.
"Oh...so what do you want me to do?" Loki asked, unsure.
"Kill it! Squash that bloody damned creature!" Rose yelled her voice shaking.
But Loki couldn't kill it. It was just harmless according to him and looked 'scared'. So he just vanished the archanid.
"Done. You may open your eyes." Loki called out softly. Rose looked around and then shuddered. "I hate spiders. I absolutely hate them."
"You don't say." Loki teased earning a glare from her.
After everything was settled down and every nooks and crannies were checked by Loki for any creeping and crawling creatures, Rose heaved a sigh of relief and relaxed on the sofa, a tub of choco chip ice cream in hand and turned on the TV.
Loki searched throughout the kitchen for his favourite choco chip cookies but failed to find any. "Damn it! Where are my cookies?" He yelled. "I hate coconut ones."
"Why don't you eat some ice cream with me?" Rose offered. Loki sighed defeated and joined Rose on the couch.
"Aren't we gonna work on the mission?" Loki asked watching the channels being flicked by her. Rose took a spoonful of ice cream in mouth and shrugged. "We just got here. Let us rest. We can work later." She replied, leaning against his shoulder.
Loki nodded accepting as he ran his fingers through her hairs, smiling when she purred with contentment. Rose didn't even know when she fell asleep on him. Loki too cuddled up with her and drifted off to a short nap.
