The next morning, he woke up alone in the bed. Touching the spot where she was supposed to be sleeping, he found it cold indicating that she has woken up long before.

The sun had just risen, it was four in the morning.

"I should sleep for more an hour or two..." He yawned, scratching his head sleepily and crashed back on the pillow.

Thunk thunk thunk

"What in the hell...." He groaned, pressing the pillow over his ears. But the continuous loud sounds of a metal hitting something hard was making it difficult for him to go back to sleep.

"Urgh! Can't a God get his essential beauty nap?!" He grumbled and sitting up, he leaned out of the window. "Who the hell is making these sounds? I order you to stop this- Woahh!!"

Rose waved her shovel in the air, from the other side of the lake. "Woohoo!!" The soil around her was dug out, a complete mess. Loki squinted his eyes trying to figure out what was she doing so early in the morning.

"What are you doing there?" He shouted, leaning out of the window. "Stop making noises!"

"Shut up Elsa!" She screamed back, showing him something in her hand.

Knowing her good manners, it didn't take him time to realise that it was her middle finger.

And she returned back to her digging.

Thunk thunk thunk

The sounds echoed and soured his already grumpy mood. "I demand you to stop! Let me sleep!" He yelled and then with a deep intake of breath, he increased his volume. "What are you doing?"

"Where do you think I am standing?" She yelled back, cupping her hands over her mouth. "I'm digging graves!"

He almost tumbled out of the window.

And then he realised where she was. The other side of the lake where the evil soul wanders...

"Oh no..." A chill ran down his spine making him shiver. Quickly jumping down the bed he teleported outside but not that side where she was working with her spade.

"What was the need to dig their graves? You could have just dropped them off at SHIELD tower!" He yelled in his cupped hands.

Rose dropped the shovel on the ground and looked up at him. "So that your waiting agents can pounce on me and take me in?" She snapped. "And on top of that, Mr. Stark had alerted Hydra's puppets in last interview. Made my job much more difficult. They are now alert and sharp, waiting for a chance to grab me..."

"What did you say? I can't hear you! A little louder!" Loki yelled from the other side.

Rose groaned and waved her shovel at him. "Go away! Let me work!" She shouted. "Can I help you?" He asked back. "No! I don't want you to throw up on my feet!" She yelled. "Go inside! I'll join you in five minutes!"

Loki coughed, throat itching with all those shouts and yells. Narrowing his eyes he found some big bags bundled near her feet. He gulped and gave her a thumbs up. "Alright! I'm waiting! Don't put too much stress on yourself! You're hurt!"

"Just go!" She grinned. He spared a last glance at teleported back to the house. Brushing his teeth and refreshing himself with a quick shower, he headed to the kitchen and found her plopped on the couch, sipping apple juice.

"So?" He asked.

Rose stared up at him. "Huh? What?"

"Are you done with digging graves?" He asked, eyeing her dirty soiled feet and hands. She shook her head. "Nope. I've left them in the open ground to bury them afterwards so that goats can graze on them."
