"You should leave now."

Loki gripped the jacket tighter, staring at Rose to the door and back to Rose, eyes dim pool of despair.

The wheels in his head started whirring, trying to make up an excuse to stay here with her in this house.

"Do you really want me to leave, Pudding?" He asked, love oozing out of the softly spoken words as he stood up.

Rose gulped, avoiding his eyes. "Yes." She nodded. "Yes I want you to leave."

Oh come on Loki! Use your silver tongue! Think out of some excuse!

"Umm... it's past midnight and it's dark outside." Loki pointed at the door which was open, snowflakes floating in. "And it's snowing."

"So?" Rose questioned, pulling down her beanie to cover her ears. "You're an ice giant, remember?"

"It's Frost giant, darling." He corrected her. "And the street's are deserted. No one at sight in that dark." He gulped. "Can I stay here for the night?"

"No!" Rose snapped. "I'm not a fool to trust you, Liesmith! Who knows if you just jump on me while I'm sleeping and then take me back!"

"I won't!" Loki raised his hands over his head. "Though it's a nice plan." He thought, keeping his face innocent. "It's just that... I don't want the ghosts of your kills grab me and then possess me."

Rose glared at him, narrowing her eyes. Slamming the door close with a kick, she walked near him, grabbed his ear and pulled out the earpiece. "And what's this?" She hissed.

"An earpiece." He replied, trying to smile. "Just one I have got- Noo!"

She crushed it.

"Couldn't take the chance of being tracked, could I? Now gimme your phone." She extended her palm. He nervously took it out and placed it on her palm. She grabbed it and was about to smash it against the wall when he yelled.

"No! Wait please!" He grabbed her hand. "Don't smash it. It's too precious to me. Someone too special."

Red spreaded on her face as she wrenched her hand away. "Why? What's so special about it, huh? Who's she?" She gritted out.

"Someone very special. More special than you, Azrael." Loki snapped, his own temper rising.

Dark flashed in her eyes as she tried to keep a 'don't care' face. "Oh really?" She grinned, which looked more like a scowl. "Who's she?" She scoffed.

He huffed and pressed the screen to her nose. The reddish tint disappeared from her face as she stared at her own picture, clad in flowers.

"She's Rose." Loki broke her daze. His eyes were dulled with emotions as he stared down at her. "My Belle. Pudding. Kitty."

"Ah!" She pushed the screen away from her face and gave him a not so genuine smile. "She's pretty good for you. You two look nice together but sorry..." The smile dropped. "She's dead now."

"Not dead!" His voice became sharp. "Just lost and hidden. And I'll have my hidden Belle back." He stepped back. "I'll have my hidden beauty back. You just wait and see."

She snorted, rolling her eyes. "Wish you luck babes." And then snatching the phone from his hand she started heading upstairs.

Loki ran a hand through his hair, tugging at the ends and exhaled heavily. "This is far more difficult than I realised." He sighed and then followed her lead.

He pushed the door and stepped in to find her fiddling with his phone and a chip. "What's that?" He asked, eyeing her.

"It's something to prevent you from calling someone." Rose replied without looking up. "If you pick a call, it will explode with your head and hand."
