Rose yawned and stretched out her hands, the precious stones on her rings catching the sunlight and shining. She tried rolling on her side but couldn't as the hold around her waist tightened a bit.

Rose huffed a laugh and faced the still sleeping man beside her. Her smile widened as she took in his face set up in a peaceful expression, an arm under his head while the other loose around her waist.

She giggled, reaching out to trace his brows and jaws and that soft thin pink lips.

"Husband..." She whispered and giggled again, the thought amusing her and filling her with a ticklish warmth.

Snaking her arm around his torso, she snuggled closer, their noses almost touching, their faces so close that she could count his long thick lashes. She continued gazing at him, content and happy, ready to give up her whole life and just drink in his unintended beauty.

The corner of his lips tugged up.

"...Stop staring... it's creepy..." He mumbled, pulling up the blanket to hide his face.

Rose laughed, tugging the blanket down to reveal his grinning face. "Good morning to you too!" And then with a girlish giggle, added. "Husband."

Loki's eyes twinkled, an amused chuckle escaping his lips as he kissed her lips, feeling her smile. "Wifey..." He whispered, husky and groggy in his morning voice.

"Mrs. Rose Odinson." Rose scrunched up her nose as if tasting the word. "Weird but tolerable."

Loki laughed, this time a full deep throated one, pulling her flush against his chest. "Tolerable? Really?"

"Mhmm." Rose beamed, resting her head under his chin. "We already were this close before our wedding but still..." She kissed his chin and jaw. "It feels good. Or maybe it's these rings I'm loving more."

"Why are you teasing me so early this morning?" Loki laughed, his chest rumbling. "Be a little considerate, lovely wife of mine."

"Not at all, caring husband of mine." Rose stuck out her tongue, eyes narrowed. "Let me make you suffer a little bit." And then suddenly her eyes widened. "Oh shit!" And leaped up sitting.

Loki frowned, tugging to get her down again. "Aw! What's the matter? Let's cuddle-"

"Today is Winston's hearing Loki! We are going to be late!" Rose proceeded to get down from bed but he held her hand tight.

"Let him rot. Let's cuddle again-"

"Of course not! You are forgetting something else!" Rose pried off her hand and picked up her wedding gown from the floor along with his suit, plopping them on the couch. "We are leaving for Asgard today! It's our first day there after our marriage along with Sapphire!"

Loki groaned, plopping back on the pillow, intending to fall back asleep but Rose gave him no chance to do that as she pulled him down the bed, luring him for a long bath with her.

............................

"So..." Loki glanced sideways at Rose who was fiddling with the rings on her finger. "You really won't be killing him or giving him up for life time imprisonment?"

"No, I won't." Rose answered, placing her palms flat on her lap.

Loki huffed, a hand on the stiring wheel and the other in his hair.

Rose sighed and reached out to take the hand tangled in his hair and squeezed it. "Yesterday felt like a dream...too beautiful and perfect to be true."

A smile graced his face as he brought her hand to kiss it. "For me too." And the smile turned a sad one. "Only if Aunt and Lucy were there to see us wed off."
