Chapter 7: Wolf Attack

(Vivian's Pov)

After finally turning back into a human yesterday, I had fun hanging out with my friends and getting to know them better...especially Warren, he was probably my favorite so far...I also really liked his pure white and fluffy angel wings...they sure were angelic looking.

The others also told me how they're in this hero group called the X-Men and everyone has their own hero name, which is cool, Jean is called Phoenix, Ororo is called Storm, Peter is called Quicksilver, Kurt is called Nightcrawler, Scott is called Cyclops and Warren is called Angel which all makes sense...hmm I gotta come up with a name for myself because my brother has Wolverine and Charles and Hank have Professor X and Beast...hmm I'll probably come up with it later.

Anyways after hanging out with my new friends yesterday, I had so much fun. We got lunch, hung out at the mall then headed back to the Mansion to watch some movies in the common room until we had to go to bed because school started tomorrow and well...

Let's just say my nerves got the best of me and I didn't really sleep well because I couldn't stop overthinking about what would happen to me or to the others if I lost control of my mutation. I won't be able to live with myself if I lost control of myself and hurt anyone...not only do I not wanna lose the only friends I ever made, but I also don't want people to be afraid of me or bully me because of it.

It was currently 6am and I've been up all night just staring out at the moon because well...I'm a wolf and who doesn't enjoy a good moon watch? That and I wanted to watch it set before the sunrise came up.

I know I probably could've bothered Logan to help me sleep because he always has, but he doesn't sleep much either and I worry about him and wanted him to sleep as much as he could so I didn't wanna bother him either. So I kinda just chilled in my room until the sun came up and school began to start.

I sighed knowing I wasn't gonna get sleep anytime soon and well...it was time to get ready for school so I couldn't sleep even if I wanted to, unless I wanted to miss my first day which I thought about doing but I wanna do this, I have to do this...there's no other option or choice.

I hopped out of bed stretching and yawning and cracked my stiff and sore muscles since I was on a bed in the same position for god knows how long. I sighed as I just picked out whatever I could find in my drawers which were short overalls and a basic white top.

I sighed and shrugged and headed to my bathroom to shower and get dressed which by the way these room were very cool, not to mention big and we all had our own bathrooms with showers...I mean could this place get any better?

Anyways, I headed to my bathroom and started up my shower, I yawned and sighed as I hopped out of my pj's which was just one of Logan's flannel's I stole. I hopped in the shower and sighed as the hot water felt nice on my tired muscles.

After my shower, I turned off the water, hopped out and wrapped a towel around myself. I headed back to my room, dried off and hopped in my clothes. I dried my hair and put it up in a messy bun and slid on my shoes. School didn't started for another hour or so but I needed energy and food STAT if I'm going to get through today.

I quietly headed out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen seeing the professors and my brother. I felt all eyes on me which didn't make my nerves about today any better. I took a deep breath and grabbed a mug and poured myself a cup of coffee "Morning" I heard my brother say but because I didn't see nor hear him coming it made me flinch and spill some of my coffee.

I growled and grabbed a towel to clean up my mess which made Logan furrow his eyebrows a bit "Jumpy much?"
