Chapter 9: First Date??

(Vivian's Pov)

After hanging out with Warren yesterday...well more like him taking care of me. We pretty much just watched movies in my room and ate a ton of snacks until we eventually fell asleep...I however do not remember if he left or stayed but we'll find out won't we.

I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through my bedroom window. I sighed and groaned as I turned the other wanting to go back to sleep but I turned to be face with not only Warren...but a shirtless Warren...

My eyes widen as I swear my breathing stopped, heart pounded and face flushed. I took a few deep breaths and couldn't help but eye Warren up and down...he sure was greatly built I'll say. Nice and tan, built shoulders and arms and great abs too.

I swear I felt like I was drooling which made me groan and shake my head a bit. I carefully and quietly hopped out of bed and stretched and yawned. I groaned and cracked my stiff and sore muscles...damn gonna be sore for a few days but that's never anything new.

I looked seeing Warren still peacefully sleeping which made me smile softly as I quietly headed out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. It was quiet loud due to kids heading off to classes and chatting with others.

I sighed and headed to the kitchen seeing my other friends and Logan assuming the others had classes to teach. They all looked at me which my eyes widen a bit. The others immediately got up from their chairs and embraced me in a hug. I tensed up a big and groaned in pain as they squeezed me tightly.

I looked at Logan who just smirked and chuckled "uhhh what's this for?" I asked, they all pulled away "we were so worried about you" Jean said, "yea what happened was crazy" Scott said, I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly "I'm sorry you guys had to see that" I said,

They smiled empathetically "Don't worry about it. You couldn't control it" Ororo said, I just nodded "We're just glad you're okay" Peter said, I smiled softly "Thanks guys" I said, they smiled softly "Where's Warren?" Jean asked, I blushed shyly "Uhh sleeping still" I said awkwardly,

The others smirked which made me groan "no no no don't you even start" I said and chuckled, they just laughed and walked away to head off to class leaving me with Logan. I smiled and shook my head and walked up to Logan who handed me a mug full of coffee. I smiled and thanked him which made him chuckle and nod.

I sipped my coffee while Logan pulled me in a hug which made me smile and hug him back "you worried me sis" he said softly, I frowned and sighed "I know. I'm sorry...I just tried so hard to fight Raven but she kept pushing me down like I was some weakling and it just pissed me off so much that I couldn't get a single hit on her" I said with a huff.

Logan cupped my cheeks "And time here you will learn but it takes time and patients and while you are strong in your own ways. She's had better training and lot more experience than you" he said, I frowned and nodded "How is she by the way?" I asked, he cracked a small smile "She'll be okay" He said,

I just nodded and sipped my coffee "How are you doing?" I asked, he kissed my head "I'm alright. Don't worry so much about me" He said, I rolled my eyes "you're my big brother...I'm supposed to worry" I said, he rolled his eyes a bit "Well you need to not worry so much" He said,

I chuckled "That's rich coming from you" I said, he chuckled a bit "Fair enough" he said and sipped his coffee that probably had alcohol in It. I sipped my coffee and smiled softly "Seems like you're getting along well with the others" he stated, I smiled softly and nodded "First time I ever had friends who don't judge me for my mutation" I said,

Logan smiled and ruffled my bedhead hair which made me giggle "well I'm glad you're having fun" He said, I smiled and nodded "I'm gonna go for a ride. You rest up" he said, I just nodded as he kissed my head and headed out of the kitchen where a sleepy Warren just walked in.
