Chapter 12: Runaway

(Vivian's Pov)

I fluttered my eyes open to see I was in my wolf form, it's easy to tell when I'm in wolf form as I probably mentioned before. I groaned and rolled my eyes as I got up and stretched my stiff and sore muscles. I shook my head and body as one wolf does to wake up and or just shake off any dirt or water on my body.

I yawned and hopped out of bed and walked over to my door. I got on my hind legs and struggled to open the door up with my paws. Thankfully the door was easier to open then I thought and sighed as I headed out of my room.

I looked around seeing kids coming and going. My ears perked to all the sounds around me which made me flinch a bit, still not used to the sounds of other kids in wolf form. I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths and felt more eyes on me like never before...I felt like a freak in some circus.

This was worse than in my human form. I headed downstairs and just saw more kids that stopped and stared at me. They pointed and whispered to their friends as if I couldn't hear them. Some laughed, some gave me weird looks...I felt the anger grow stronger within me that I'm not sure I could contain it.

I growled and snarled my teeth feeling the need to attack everyone and anyone who dare mess with me. I looked at some of these kids and barked which just made them laugh "Awe what's a pathetic little puppy gonna do huh?" One student teased which made them and their friends laugh. The anger ran hot through me which made growl and tremble with anger.

I walked up to the small group which just made them laugh and stare down at me thinking I won't be able to kick their asses. I just smirked as I snarled angrily and jumped at the one who said shit. They groaned and tried shoving me off but I was too strong. I scratched them as hard as I could and bit anywhere I could bite.

They tried to fight me off and use their abilities but I was still too strong. Their friends also tried fighting me off but I used my claws to scratch them away. They all screamed and begged for help and begged for me to stop which made most people just stare and watch not knowing what to do.

Eventually I felt someone pry me off them and into their arms which by knowing their scent was my brother Logan. I struggled in his arms which made him groan and hold me tightly onto the floor "Winter, relax. It's just me, relax. Calm down" He cooed. I snarled and still felt my blood boil.

The kids got up from the floor and quickly rushed to the infirmary. I saw blood dripping from them and felt their blood all over my fur and in my mouth. I breathed heavily and felt my heart pound against my ribcage. I'm sure Logan felt it too as he rubbed my head and back "Calm down Viv" he whispered in my ear which made me sigh as I tried to calm down a little but I still felt so fucking angry that I wanted to hurt literally everyone.

Logan looked seeing most kids were still staring "What are you looking at!?" He shouted which made them walk away. When I was calm enough, Logan let me go and looked at me "what happened?" He asked, I growled "They made fun of me! and I got so fucking angry that I just attacked!" I barked with frustration; Logan sighed "You can't just attack people Vivian. Do you want to get kicked out of this place?" He asked,

I sighed and huffed a bit because I really didn't want to get kicked out of here "What was I supposed to do James! They teased me! Everyone here is treating me like I'm some sort of freak and maybe they're right! I don't belong here James!" I shouted with frustration.

Logan frowned "Look I understand how you feel kid. I really do but you can't just attack people because they say things about you. Be the bigger person and learn to ignore them okay because you are nothing they say about you okay?" He stated and cupped my cheeks. I sighed and rolled my eyes which made Logan sigh a bit "Go clean up. I'll tell the Professor what happened" he said,
