The music shuts off and we all turn around and our eyes fall on my dad

"Dad. You're home early." Kurt says

"Deadliest Catch is on. What are you wearing?" My dad asks as he walks closer to us

"It's a unitard. Guys wear them to, uh, work out nowadays. Do sports. They wick sweat from the body." Kurt says before my dad pulls on the material on Kurt's unitard

"Mm." My dad hums

"F-F-Football." Tina says before I nod my head for him to follow along

"Yeah, all the guys in football wear 'em. They're jock-chic." Kurt tells our father

"Totally. Kurt's on the football team now. He's the kicker. That's the smallest guy on the field, right?" I say in hopes to convince my father of this

"Yeah. Ye-- Liv and Tina were just helping me with some conditioning work." Kurt tells our dad

"Hmm. Really? You know, I played in JC before I busted up my knee...poppin' wheelies on my dirt bike." Dad tells us

"Cool. I guess we'll have something to talk about then." Kurt says as he laughs nervously

"So are you his girlfriend?" My dad asks Tina before Kurt grabs Tina's butt

"But I'm not ready to be exclusive just yet." Kurt tells him

"Hmm. All right, just keep the music down. I can't hear myself think up there." My dad says before walking over to the stairs

"Hey, Kurt? Be sure to get me a ticket to your first game." My dad says causing Kurt to smile uncomfortably and agree before my dad dissapears up the stairs

"Thanks for that, Liv." Kurt says

"Well, if you won't come out to him, what else did you want me to do? He was so not believing you." I tell him

"E...Excuse me. This-This isn't the right key." Rachel says as Mr. Schue passes out the sheet music

"It's actually the right key." Mr. Schue tells her

"This is the alto part." Rachel says

"Yep. Tina's doing the solo." Mr. Schue tells her and I hug Tina excitedly

"I'm...I'm sorry. There must be some sort of mix-up. I thought I made it very clear that anything from West Side Story goes to me. Maria is my part. Natalie Wood was a Jew, you know. I've had a very deep, personal connection to this role since the age of one." Rachel says

"Well, I'm trying to shake things up a bit, get us out of our boxes." Mr. Schue tells her

"You're trying to punish me." Rachel says furiously

"I think you're being irrational." Mr. Schue says

"I think you're being unfair." Rachel tells him

"I think you're being unfair to Tina...who might have been happy about getting her first solo." Mr. Schue says before I drown them out as I turn to Tina
