With those words, Sanam's face lit up with an undeniable happiness. Kahini's eyes, filled with a new intensity, mirrored the emotions swirling between them. There was no need for words anymore. Her eyes became the mirror of her heart, and the tenderness in her gaze made everything clear. Sanam's radiant smile deepened as she cupped Kahini's face with in tender hold.

Sanam was completely lost in Kahini's angelic beauty, her heart beating harder with every passing second. The younger woman's eyes fluttered shut under Sanam's warm touch, her breathing uneven, emotions trembling behind her closed lids.

"Kahini," Sanam whispered, her voice barely audible, blending into the soft, cold breeze. As their gazes locked, Kahini felt a flicker of fear deep in her heart.

"I won't lie to you, Kahini. You know me better than anyone, you know my life," Sanam began, her voice soft yet firm, her eyes never leaving Kahini's tender gaze.

"I've never been with a woman either, but not because I was in denial." Sanam confessed, her voice steady but filled with emotion. Kahini listened intently.

"I've always known I'm attracted to both men and women, ever since I was young. But I never considered myself bisexual because I didn't have that choice. My life was already hard enough as an orphan—I didn't need more complications. And then I met Faiz at really young age, and later, Asif." Sanam's touch was gentle as she lovingly caressed Kahini's cheek, her fingers lingering for a moment before sliding down to take her hand, holding it like she was holding her very heart.

Kahini's gaze flicked to their intertwined hands, and in that moment, everything felt right. The softness of Sanam's touch, the warmth of their connection—it was almost too perfect.

Sanam's voice softened to a murmur as she continued, "I'm not young anymore, Kahini. I may not be able to give you the kind of carefree, spontaneous relationship you deserve. But I'm not one to beat around the bush. I like you. In fact, I think I more than like you."

Kahini's eyes brimmed with unshed tears, her heart swelling with joy as Sanam's words sank in. A single tear rolled down her cheek, her lips curving into a radiant smile.

Sanam offered a soft, happy smile of her own, her grip on Kahini's hand tightening slightly in her lap. "Yes, Kahini, and it's not something recent. You know that. We've never really talked about it, but we haven't been 'just friends' for a long time. You're not some holiday fling that I'll forget after leaving India. I came here because I want us to be real."

A single tear of joy slid down Kahini's cheek as her smile deepened. Sanam's gaze sparkled as she continued, her hand squeezing Kahini's a little tighter.

"I've never felt like this before, Kahini. I've always lived the way others expected me to, or the way I needed to in order to survive even with Faiz. But with you... for the first time, I want to live for myself. And I want to do that with you." Sanam's voice wavered slightly with emotion, her eyes filled with raw vulnerability.

"I don't know how we'll make this work," she continued, her voice softening. "I have responsibilities, an image to uphold in front of the world. And I'm Muslim... I live thousands of miles away. I have three kids. I know it's difficult. And... I know I'm not good enough for you. You're such an amazing woman. You could find—"

Sanam's nervous ramble was cut short as Kahini's soft lips gently pressed against hers, silencing her with a kiss that sent sparks shooting through every fiber of her being.
